CHAPTER 19

JOSHUA'S POV

I went to meet up with elly for lunch. And told her everything that happened between me and Claudia.

"So when are you gonna tell Julia about you being a geng leader" Elly asked me while smoking.

"I don't know Elly, she is really sensitive"

" Tell her before she knows the truth" Elly said while looking at me

" I will soon, I am just searching for a right time." I sighed

" Anyways did you get any information about the killer?" Elly asked.

" The Chang are currently at Singapore, I told Jeff to track and get more informations about the Chang. I also put their Home under surveillance here in Philippines" I said while sipping my coffee.

"Wow, you are really prepared aren't you, just call me if there is anything bruh, I will be here for you'' Elly said. Elly, I and Akshaya were well trained to face the enemies. We were faced to fight the enemies since we were kid. Dad and lolo thought us all how to protect ourselves. Akshaya used to be a tomboy kind of girl, she is experts with guns. We help each other no matter what.

I went home with flowers and chocolates to surprise Claudia and Julia.

"Hey" I pat Julia's back and placed the chocolate beside her and said " your fav juju" She turned and her eyes were all red. "Hey what happened?" I asked her.

"Oh nothing, I was watching the Korean drama and got emotional" she said. "Oh gosh, I thought something happened" I inhaled and turned to my right where Claudia was standing.

"Hi baby, look what I got for you" I said handing her the flowers. It took a while for her to actually accept the flowers. Something is bothering her. She looked disappointed. "Thanks" She said while walking away.

"Whats wrong with her?" I asked Julia. She shrugged her shoulders and left the hall. "What is wrong with everyone"

I walked in the room and Claudia was getting ready. " Where are you going?" I asked. She was ignoring my question. "What the hell clau-"

Even before I finish her name she cut me off and said " Im going to hang out with jessy, don't forget to lock the doors" as she kissed me in the cheek.

I was really confused. Why is she ignoring me. What happened? She left and I decided to find out whats going on. I took my phone and track her. I always check her phones in the morning and share her location to me. I am not being an overprotective boyfriend but Im gonna be a gang leader and I want her to be safe.

CLAUDIA'S POV

I was mad at Joshua, he don't trust me at all. He said he loves me but why can't he tell my about his plans of being the leader.I called Jessy and decided to hang out with her. She suggested that we should go and drink some milk tea.

I decided to wear my My plain black tee and ripped jeans with no makeup and no contact lenses. I wore my old specs and slip in vans shoes on.

I tried to act like I was not mad at him. I even kissed him on the cheeks to make it look like I was not mad.

I was outside waiting for the cab to come. It has been more than 5 minutes and I am already starving. I decided to walk a bit more to the bus stop. As I reach at the bus stop, I could feel like someone was following me from the back. I quickly ran from the bus stop to a old chinese restaurant.

"Where are you going beautiful" A husky voice came from my right. I turn to see a man covered with black mask was standing in front of me.

"You must be J Reyes's new girlfriend aye" he said while laughing. He tried to pull me but I pushed him away. I quickly ran when another guy wearing the same mask came from the others side and grabbed my both hands. "Stoppp!! Help! Someone help me!!!" I screamed but he covered my mouth. I kicked his leg and fell on the flour. My spectacle dropped and I couldn't see anything.

I don't know what happened. All I could hear is a sound of someone punching and yelling. I couldn't see anything. Everything looked so blurry to me. And then it stopped. There was no sound. It was so quiet. I tried standing up when someone hold my both arms from the back.

"Don't touch me!!!!" I shouted making my tears rolled down on my cheeks in fears.

"Baby, its me Joshua" he said while handing my specs to me.

I step back and looked at him. "How long are you gonna hide this from me??" I said while crying.

"Claudia I was gonna tell you about-"

"Noo!! You made me look like a fool! You don't trust me!" I said while running away from him.

I went back to the penthouse and went to bed early. I never talked to Joshua as I was mad at him. I could still remember the voice of the guy who grabbed me.

"Claudia, please talk to me. I am really sorry, I should have told you. Im such a fool for not telling you. Please believe me claui, I wanted to tell you about it please, claudia" He keep begging for my forgiveness.
