Farming: Male!Ukraine x Reader

You smiled softly to yourself as you watch the scenery go by out of the car window. You were going with your best friend to their aunt's farm for the summer.

You watched the cows and other farm animals come and go as you passed multiple other farms, each farm pretty big. The car stopped and you were in awe at the amount of animals here and how large (best friend's name)'s aunt's farm is.

Aunt (name) gave both you and (best friend) a hug before bringing both of you into her big farm house. You noticed a pale blonde boy about your age washing vegetables in the kitchen. He looked about to be your age and you wanted to meet more of (best friend)'s family. You walked over to him and gently tapped his shoulder, accidentally scaring him.

"Uh, sorry to startle you, but are you (best friend)'s cousin?" You asked politely, with a smile on your face.

He chuckled softly and finished washing the carrot in his hand before replying.

"Actually, no. I'm just a farm hand. My name's Dmirti." He said, drying off his hands before holding out a hand to you. You shook his hand and flashed him a bright smile.

"I'm _____. It's nice to meet you, Dmitri" You replied.

He put the vegetables away in the fridge before talking to you again. "You new here? If you want, I can give you a tour." He said kindly, fixing the x shaped hair clip in his hair to keep his bangs out of his face.

"I'd love for you to give me a tour! Thank you so much!" You said happily, walking out of the farmhouse with him.

Dmirti brought you around the entire farm, showing you where the vegetables and fruits are grown, and also the big barn where all the animals are. You were awestruck about how much he knew about the plants and animals, and you both enjoyed each other's company. You were glad to have confronted him and met him.

About a month later, you two were working side by side with helping the animals. You laughed as you and Dmitri brought out food for the goats and all of the baby goats swarmed both of you. You picked one up and cuddled it, not knowing that it was falling asleep in your arms.

Dmitri saw you with the baby goat and chuckled, gently petting the sleeping animal's head. He took the baby goat from your arms and gently placed it on the ground before taking your hand and bringing you out into the fields close to the animal pens.

"Where are we going, Dmitri?.." You asked, walking a bit faster to match his long strides since he's pretty tall.

"Somewhere special!" He replied, not saying anything more as he brought you to a little picnic set up. You smiled and sat down next to him.

"All the food is hand made and the ingredients are from here." Dmitri said, opening the picnic basket and taking out two sandwiches and pouring a glass of lemonade for the both of you.

"Dmitri... this is amazing thank you." You said with a smile, taking a bite of your sandwich that he gave you.

He smiled and gave you a quick hug.

"You're welcome _____!" He cheered, happy that you loved it.

"Actually, _____, I need to ask you something..." He mumbled out, looking down at the ground and playing with a blade of grass.

You tilted you head slightly, curious as to what he wanted to ask you.

"What is it, Dmitri?..." He took a deep breath before looking up at your face.

"_____...... Will you be my girlfriend?... We've known each other for a month now and I um, I really like you!"

You were quiet for a moment before smiling happily and hugging him tightly.

"I'd love to!" You excitedly chimed out parting from the hug and kissing him sweetly. He was a bit shocked at first with the kiss but he happily kissed back, glad that you were his girlfriend now.
