Intruders: Denmark x Reader

You grumbled to yourself as your teacher, Mr.(put a last name here) was rambling along about what you thought was the most boring class ever, world history. You struggled to stay awake, your eyelids slowly closing as you drifted off to sleep. You just got comfy when all of a studded you heard the intercom.

"There is an intruder in the building. I repeat, there is an intruder in the building."

You shot up from your desk, surprised that this is happening. You've seen it happen on the news, but you would've never thought it would happen to your school. Your teacher quickly locked the door and covered the windows. One of your classmates, Mathais, started pushing a bookcase to barricade the door, getting the help from your other classmates Ludwig and Alfred. All three of them were football players so you weren't surprised at their strength.

Once the door was barricaded, everyone was crammed into a corner of the room, no one making any noise. With the confined spaces, you somehow ended up sitting on Mathais's lap. Normally, you'd be flustered and get up, but that would make noise and it might draw the intruder to their classroom, so you stayed sitting.

The minutes passed agonizingly slow, you becoming more and more anxious. Mathais, on the other hand, was completely calm. He wasn't to phased by a girl having to sit on his lap, but he was surprised at how nervous she was. He gently hugged her from behind, feeling her jump a bit. He just wanted her to calm down, because she needed a cool head.

You blushed as you felt two arms wrap around your stomach, pulling you close to the chest of the owner of the arms. You looked behind you and saw that it was Mathais hugging you, and you just blushed more. You knew what he was doing, though, since he's never shown any intrest in you so he couldn't like you. You knew that he was just trying to calm you down, and it was starting to work.

Soon, your breathing was back to it's normal rhythm, and you turned to look at Mathais, smiling at him to show your thanks. He just grinned and kept you close to his chest, not wanting to let go of you just yet. After what seemed like an hour, the intercom finally came back on, giving everyone relief.

"The intruder has been caught. Please resume normal daily activities."

Everyone in your class got up and out of the little corner you were all crammed into, stretching muscles and popping joints to loosen them. You went back to your desk and got comfy once again, getting ready to go back to sleep. Mathais, on the other hand, had different plans. He sat down in the desk next to yours, ignoring the protest from the student that actually sat there. He scooted his desk closer to yours, smiling as he scribbled down on a piece of paper, before folding it up and putting it on your desk.

You woke up close to the end if class, surprised that the teacher didn't catch you. You saw a small, folded up piece of paper and opened it, reading what it said.

"Hey _____, you're welcome for calming you down earlier. I was thinking that maybe we could go eat lunch together? I haven't really gotten to know you yet.

-Mathais Køhler"

You just looked over at him and smiled softly, nodding your head yes so he could know your answer. You were happy that you were finally going to get to know him.
