Our Long Summer

Chapter 2

Zoey's (P.O.V)

As Grace and I walked into school we were just on time. As the bell rang I went to my first period which is language arts. First period went by quick, but I was happy to go to my second period because Grace and I had the same class. As I walked into the room I was the first one there, so I saved a seat for Grace.

"Okay everybody, what we are going to do today is watch movie unless you have to catch up on work." The teacher said.

Thank god that we didn't have any work to do so me and Grace just talked during the whole movie.

Third period came by so now it was time for math.

"Good morning everyone, so today we are watching a movie, but if I call your name you have to make up, finish, or do your work." The teacher said.

I usually never have to do things twice, Grace and I had straight A's the whole year so we never really had to do stuff during class. Our math teacher was very nice, because since Grace and I were finish and were straight A's student's we were aloud to go on our phones. I have an iPhone 5s and Grace had the same one as well. We only had five minutes left in class so we just sat there being board like usually. The bell rang finally! We only had two more classes left till the final bell rang. We than have world history. Our history teacher was a really nice and funny teacher. We again watched another movie, but again Grace and I talked during the whole movie, no one really paid attention to the movie. The movie finished and at the same time as the bell rung. Off to Music class. As me and Grace walked through the door we asked our teacher if we can go into the back room to practice our singing, he agrees. As Grace and I walked to the back room we practiced. We are pretty good. We were singing for about a good 25-30 minutes.

The bell rang we were full of joy! There's no more homework, assignments, and projects! It was a total madness running through the halls! So we quickly ran to Graces car.

Zoe: Yes its finally the last say of school!

Grace: Omg yes! Do you think I can come to your house around 5?

Zoe: Sure! I would love for you to come over but text me when your on your way and I can tell you if its a good tome right now.

Grace: Okay!

Grace pulled into the drive way and I left the car and went inside. As I walked in I saw broken bottles everywhere. Then I saw my dad coming down the stairs. I was so scared if he was going to beat me. "Why were you home LATE" he said is the most angriest tone, and I jump when he yelled. I stuttered "I-I... w-was getting d-dropped off b-by G-Grace." He was thinking and I can tell, "Well I DONT BELIVE YOU NOW WHAT I WANT YOU TO DO IS GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE or your going to regret it if you keep your feet right there!" he yelled and I gulped.
