April 29

Estella yelled at me to get out of bed and I groaned. "What time is it?" I yawned loudly and Aria rolled her eyes.

She smiled way too brightly and practically yelled "Up! Up! Up! It's nearly eight and you have so much to do today!"

This time it was me who rolled their eyes. I kicked the covers off my legs aggressively and sat up. I glanced at Ellie, who was already dressed in a sleeveless, white dress with her hair in a cute, little topknot. I looked backed at the two standing in front of me.

"Coffee? Where can I find coffee?" I asked mid yawn.

Estella, once again, rolled her eyes and told me, "You may have coffee after we get you ready. Just like everyday for the last week."

I threw my head back down and groaned. "Go get A up while I try to wake up?" I asked hopefully.

They shook their heads disapprovingly, but walked to the door that connected our rooms. "It should be illegal to wake up this early." I mumbled as I walked over to the calendar that hung above my desk.

How in hell could I have forgotten?

I turned around and tried to hide my guilt by smiling brightly. "Happy birthday Elle!" I half-yelled at her.

She smiled and started happy dancing. "I'm four!" I laughed and hugged her.

Where the fuck am I gonna find a gift?

"You are four! Do you know what that means?" I asked her giddily, and she shook her head. I leaned in and whispered to her, "That means you get four presents!" She started hopping up and down once more, until Aria, Estella, and Adrienne walked in.

Adrienne wore an elegant silk dress, white, as always. Her hair was pulled into a clean knot at the nape of her neck and her makeup done was done, flawlessly, might I add.

Estella shoved me into the bathroom, washed my hair with lavender shampoo, and had Aria dry and curl it. She did my makeup beautifully and draped the golden circlet across my forehead.

Estella shoved me into a simple, knee length dress. "What's a girl gotta do to get some Spanx around here?" I mumbled. Aria rolled her eyes while Estella snorted.

The soles of the gold ballerina flats slapped the tiled floor as we approached the familiar black and gold doors. I still marveled at the room behind the doors, it was as gorgeous as I'd remembered it.

A and Ellie sat down and Henry approached me solemnly. I smiled at him and met his eyes, which were unnervingly cold.

'What's wrong?' I asked him in a thought, he shook his head and walked away.

Who spit in his cereal?

I shook the thought out of my head and sat down at the table. Every breakfast food I'd ever heard of, and some I hadn't, were presented to us. Everything was so delicious, and I was thankful for the distraction.

As we were walking out of the dining room, James approached us and handed us each a piece of paper, beamed, and walked away. I looked down and saw my schedule for the day.
