September 3

The two weeks since Judgement Day had gone by in a whirlwind of wedding planning. My days were spent making choices. I'd made decisions from color choices and even to what type of fabric should we use for the decorative linens that were to be hung around the dining hall.

While I was slowly losing my mind, Adrienne was having the time of her life doing nothing except talking about her new boyfriend, Alex, the guy she met at my birthday party.

The whole thing was taking place in the Underworld, but we had to use some weird super secret portal to get there. Also, the thing was in a broom closet. So, Aria, Estella, Adrienne, Ellie, my mom and I were going down because the ceremony was the next day.

Aria happily led the way to the small broom closet and opened the door to reveal nothing but a glass door. Hell, it was even a door, just a mirror. We all looked at Aria and Estella in confusion and they both laughed.

"Just walk through it." Mom explained and demonstrated, just walking through the glass. As she stepped through, the reflection rippled and moved as if the glass was a pool of mercury.

I picked Ellie up and sat her on my hip, her and I had to go through The Glass Door last. I took a deep breath and did as I was instructed, but once it wasn't like anything I could've imagined.

It felt like I was falling through molasses, and it looked like I was stuck inside of a kaleidoscope. I blinked rapidly and shut my eyes tightly.

I felt a finger tap my shoulder and once I opened my eyes, I was standing in the middle of a hallway. The walls were a soft shade of cream and the floor was warmly stained wood. The décor gave off a feeling of comfort and ease.

The hallways were even more grand than the ones at the Manor. They were wider, taller, and there were many more rooms leading off them. My jaw dropped and Adrienne closed it with a loud click.

I chuckled awkwardly and tried not to get caught up watching people run around to set up my wedding. Eventually, we ended up in a relatively larger version of my bedroom from The Manor.

The only true difference from the original was the numerous white and gold cushions that formed a semicircle at the foot of my bed. Once I put Ellie down for a nap, Adrienne, mom, Estella, and I sat in the semicircle and chatted.

We all watched Aria run frantically around the room while sipping cranberry mimosas, which were fantastic, by the way. Once Aria and Estella eventually cleared out and mom, A, and I had migrated up onto the bed, they began to walk me through the next couple days.

"Do you have any idea how this is going to go down?" Adrienne asked and I shook my head.

"Well," My mother began, "The Council Dinner is tonight at six, but there won't be a rehearsal. Don't want to chance you falling in heels twice..." She jested.

I fake-laughed and rolled my eyes before she continued, "Then tomorrow, and before I continue, I'll let you know, it's going to be one helluva day." I nodded and she continued once more, "All of us will be here at six in the morning to get ready, and then the ceremony starts at noon."

"Did you write your vows?!" Adrienne interjected, I nodded and gestured for Kate to continue.

"Well, after the ceremony you will be coronated,"

I cut her off, "Thats sounds so fancy!" I joked and she rolled her eyes.

"Sure it does!" She encouraged, much like a camp counselor would. I glanced up at Adrienne, who was refilling her mimosa. "Well after you're crowned, you'll be granted immortality and you'll become a patron." Kate finished.
