June 20 (9 days later)
I was pissed.
I'd been stuck in my room for a grand total of three weeks. Three!
I'd been in my room doing nothing except watching the same three movies, reading, and talking to Ellie and Adrienne. Plus, Calliope had yet to approve my appeal for a Netflix account.
No more attempts to kill me though, which I had to say, pretty cool.
Honestly, it didn't really feel like I was fighting for my life, but I guess I wasn't. I was just trying not to get killed.
But are those two things all that different?
I'd been doing my best to distract myself from everything, but the idea that someone really wanted me dead had a tendency to cloud my thoughts.
My mind constantly cycled between the poison, Ellie, Winnie, Henry, and death. In fact, that was exactly what I was doing when a loud knock sounded on the door.
I beamed when I saw Henry walk through the door, holding a Macbook. Though, I squinted in confusion at the laptop and he laughed at my expression.
"I need your help!" I nodded at his statement and gestured for him to continue. "I-I don't know how to set this up..." He told me sheepishly.
I squealed in excitement when I saw the Netflix homepage, and a separate tab for the Hulu homepage on the screen. "What do you need help with?" I asked.
He scratched the back of his neck and replied, "I'm just not very good with modern technology and umm- could you?"
I laughed and nodded. "Do you have an email address?" I asked hopefully. He shook his head, so I typed mine in. "Alright, now you need a password. Any ideas?" I asked, he nodded slowly and typed in a relatively short word.
"What is it?"
He smirked and winked. "Olivia."
I blushed and laughed. "Really?" He nodded and I laughed again. "Alrighty, I guess I won't forget it then." This time he laughed.
Once we finished setting up the accounts, we snuggled up together on my bed to watch movies. We watched a bunch, ranging from Rom-Com's to Horror movies.
He laughed at me while I cried during Me Before You and I laughed when he was terrified of The Conjuring. He beamed at me more when I scream-sang all the words to the songs in Mamma Mia and I smiled at his hysterical laughter when we watched Jackass.
We had just finished watching How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days when Henry turned to me and said "Those movie-couples ain't got nothin' on us!" I laughed at his statement.
"Whatever you say..." I replied, still laughing.
"Hang on!" He exclaimed and a bottle of wine appeared in his hand. He set it down and conjured two wine glasses, sitting them down next to the bottle.
"Oh god... you know what happens when Drunk Olivia comes out to play..." I groaned.
He laughed and whispered my ear, "Well, I personally think Drunk Olivia is much more fun."
I bit my lip and sighed. I won't have enough wine to get drunk. I don't want Drunk Olivia to embarrass me more than she already had.
"Fine." I whined, and he poured me a glass. "You know," I started as I sipped the red. "You really shouldn't encourage me to drink. Underage drinking is illegal."
He threw his head back and laughed. "Last time I was here, at The Manor, Prohibition was still a thing. I promise you alcohol laws don't apply here."
