June 1
I slowly blinked my eyes open to reveal where I had been the night before. Henry and I were in the small cottage nestled in my corner of The Underworld.
I yawned and stretched, Henry's arm was holding me close to him. I was naked. So was he. Then, the events from last night flooded my brain.
The champagne glass, The watch, Winnie, the rings, the 'I love yous', what we did after the 'I love you's were exchanged...
I slowly flipped myself over to look at Henry, careful not to wake him. I lightly traced his beautiful features with my index finger.
He slowly opened his eyes at sleepily smiled at me. His hair was a mess and a look of mischief flashed in his eyes. He was perfect.
"Morning." He spoke groggily.
I smiled back, "Good morning." He lifted his hand and ran his hand over my curves lazily.
"We gotta go, people are probably looking for you..." He told me and I groaned. Sure, what he said made sense but that wouldn't stop me from hating the idea of getting out of bed.
He chuckled and I rolled out of bed. It was quarter-past-seven, which meant I still had time to slip into bed, practically unnoticed.
"Take us back." I ordered once we had both finished dressing.
He shook his head and chuckled again. "You're cute when you're bossy!" I rolled my eyes and ignored him as he teleported us outside my room.
I kissed him hastily and slid back into bed, barely making it before Adrienne burst in. "Where were you last night?" She shrieked. I fake-yawned and stretched.
"I was with Henry and then here..." I've always been a terrible liar, and she knew it.
"Liar! You totally slept with him!" A blush crept up my neck, confirming her accusation. "Tell. Me. Everything!" She squealed, way to loudly for 7:30 in the morning, might I add.
After I had finished relaying the details, Winnie yawned and got up from her bed and ambled over to us. I pointed to young corgi, "That's Winnie, the little pupper I was telling you about!" I cooed.
I helped Winnie onto the bed and she curled up in my lap. Adrienne and I spent the next fifteen minutes petting and cooing over the little thing.
"What. Is. That?" Adrienne screeched, breaking the silence. She pointed to the engagement ring,
"What's what?" I asked innocently.
"You little bitch! You just left out the measly detail, that Henry fucking proposed?"
"I mean we were technically already were engaged, he just got me a ring to make it 'official'." I used air quotes.
"What did he say when he gave it to you?" She asked inquisitively.
"Ummm... The 'L' word..." I told her and her eyes turned to saucers.
She screeched again, "He what?!! Did you say it back?!"
I nodded quickly, scared of her response. "Did you mean it?" She asked me quietly, and again, I nodded. "How do you know?!"
"I... err... umm... You just... umm.. know, I guess..."
She smiled warmly and replied, "I'm happy for you Liv, I am, but... don't you think you guys are moving a little fast?"
Holy shit. She's so right.
I've been here, what, a month? Yet, here I am, confessing my love and sleeping with him! I barely even know what love is, let alone if I'm in it. I mean, half the time I spend here made me want to hate Henry!
