July 6 (2 weeks later)

James stood above me, his eyebrows furrowed and his lips pressed into a thin line as he carefully removed my stitches. Henry sat at my side with a worried expression on his face, carefully calculating James' every move.

James had already finished my arms, legs, and sides, and was now focused on the word written across my abdomen. A lump formed in my throat when I saw it had scared.

For two weeks, Henry hadn't left my side. Not even when The Council called an emergency meeting.

Sure, it was sweet, but after two weeks of not being able to do anything by myself, I was a little tired of it.

I half-smiled up at him when James said, "All done! You should be able to return to your normal activities but nothing too strenuous, okay?"

I nodded but Henry interjected, "Oh believe me when I say, she won't be leaving this room until Judgement Day."

My face fell, "But that's not for two months!" I screeched, while James shifted uncomfortably and slowly walked towards the door. Once he left, I spoke again, "You can't possibly expect me to do nothing for two months!"

Henry rolled his eyes, only pushing my temper harder. "Actually, I can. Olivia, somebody wants you dead! Do you know how terrifying it was to step into the bathroom to find you lying on the ground in blood?!" His voice raised with every word.

A tear slipped down my face but he continued, "Then, on top of it, I had to sit here and watch you two days. You crashed!" Another tear fell from my eyes as he spoke, but then his voice fell to a small whisper, "What was I supposed to do if I lost you?"

A single tear fell down his cheek, "It doesn't matter, I'm here, I'm okay. I promise. You can't get rid of me that easily." I whispered back. He small, broken laugh escaped him.

I got off the bed whilst telling Henry, "I have to pee, I'll be back." Henry quickly followed suit, I whipped around, "You know I don't need help, right? My stitches are gone."

He nodded, "I know, but the last time you went to the bathroom alone, you almost died. I'm not letting that happen again."

I sighed and added, "What if I leave the door open, is that okay?"

He pondered my offer for a moment, then slowly nodded. I carefully walked to the bathroom, but stopped in my tracks when I passed my calendar. "Olivia?" Henry asked inquisitively.

I looked at the dates, having to flip back to June multiple times to make sure I wasn't crazy.

I'd missed my period. Twice.

How could I not have noticed? I mean, I guess I was a little preoccupied. "Olivia?" Henry called my name, pulling me from my thoughts. There's no way... Was there? I heard footsteps behind me and a hand on my waist. "What is it, babe?" He asked me quietly.

"ADRIENNE!" I screamed so loud Henry jumped. She burst through the door. When she saw me glared at me.

"I thought you were fucking dying, you fucking bitch!" She said heavily breathing.

"Bathroom. Now." I ordered, then turned to Henry, "You, out. Now." He tried to protest but I suppose my expression said it all. He slowly walked out of my bedroom as Adrienne and I ran into the bathroom, not bothering to close the door.

I searched like a madwoman through the cabinets until I found what I was looking for. I held the small box in my hands and stared at it. Adrienne gasped when she saw what I was holding.

"When was your last-" She started.

"Two months ago." I answered.

"Do you even want-" She started once more.
