Kaito's P.O.V.~

This...this is weird...

As I enter the jewel room calmly, I see Hakubastard and Osakan dude already there. Surprisingly, Nakamori -keibu as well, but he's not yelling... weird...

While I walk towards the two young detectives, I feel the stares of the officers around me look at me with admiration.

'Damn...how popular is Shinichi?' I think irritated that both genders are attracted to him.

"Ah, Kudo-san, how are you?" Hakuba asks kind of happy to see me.

...gross...!

We'll need to have a talk later about this matter Shinichi.

"I'm fine, sorry for worrying you, Hakuba-kun. I should be good to go for the heist." I say as I perfectly pretend to be Shinichi.

If not for my dream to be an amazing magician, I could have become a very successful actor, Ha!

"Yo, Kudo, are ya really ok? You seem kinda off." Hattori asks as he looks at me with worry.

'Does he know...? I'm pretty sure my impersonation is perfect...'

"Yeah, I'm good. Let's just get this over with..."

"One more minute!!!" A passing officer yells.

'If anything, I'll knock everyone out if I feel the situation needs it...in KID's heists, no one gets hurt.'

Conan's (Shinichi's) P.O.V.-

...

Great...I turned into Conan...

I look around to see no one in the camera room except for myself and the knocked out officers.

'So KID's heist will start soon...they wouldn't have left otherwise. I was probably not seen change or they would have taken off my current ropes and tied them all over again. Well, this is more convenient but I don't have clothes to change into...'

I get up and put the shirt I had worn as Shinichi on as a dress of sorts. When I start to take my first step, dizziness engulfs me.

'Damn! I didn't even bring any of my Conan gadgets...I came in too much of a hurry...'

As I get up again, I shake as much of my dizziness off and look around for any communication devices. Oh Yeah! The knocked out officers.

I head towards one of the officers and find a cell...with no password...that was easy.

'This is why they can never catch KID.'

[Ring~ Ring~ Rin- Hello? Who is this?]

"Ah, Haibara...some unpredictable events have happened..."

[And....you couldn't have just tied Kuroba up?? What were you thinking, going out in that condition?? What if, due to no sleep, you got so stressed that you transformed right infront of those police officers!!]

[*sight* look, try to monitor their actions for now. I'll ask Agasa to come over from the back for your getaway. Conan isn't suppose to be in Japan.]

[I've been by your side for almost three years...I know you better then most. Kuroba has been doing this for a while now, right? He'll be fine.]

"But their leader reminded me of-!" I tried to protest but I stopped.

Kaito's P.O.V.~

'Just as soon as Jiji turns off the lights.' I think, rubbing my cheek, Nakamori had pinched it not too long ago just to be safe.

Thank goodness I kind of look like Shin-chan, though I'm slightly more shorter, not like I'll ever admit it out loud. Plus, I am WAY more good looking than him...!

"Kudo, it's about to start." Hattori whispers as he takes out a kendo stick.

"3...2...1."

Black out.

"Who turned off the lights!?!?!?"
Nakamori-keibu yelled as he turned on a flash light. He's starting to know me well if he's this prepared.

I walk to the jewel case and skillfully take off all the locks without making noise while the others look for KID.
When I finally have the jewel in my hands, a light is flashed towards me, exposing my actions.

"Kudo? What are ya doing!" Hattori yells, bringing everyone's attention towards us.

Unwantingly, the lights are turned on too.

'Shoot!'

"What are you talking about? You're the one who got the jewel and handed it to me!" I accused as I thought of a plan.

'I wanted to finish this night fast so I didn't have to get involved in a chase, guess it won't go my way...'

"What are ya saying???"

"Wait, both of you are confusing us, get on your knees and we'll check you both." Hakubastard commanded as he was in a weird weary fighting pose. Though Hattori protested at first for a bit, he eventually does what he is told.

"Pinch your own faces." Nakamori commands as he makes sure no other officers get close just in case I switch with one of them.

Hattori and I do so but I'm pretty sure you know the outcome. I did say Shinichi and I kind of look the same.

"Dammit!" Nakamori mumbles as he looks between us.

"ALL MEN DISPERSE!!! LOOK FOR KID AT ALL COST!!" Nakamori yells as all officers leave the room except him.

'I guess I'll be a little late to my destination...'
