For my reviews, I'm going to do this differently.
I will give grades out, A-F. For every one of the following, I take a point off.
-Comma errors (THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM. CHECK MY COMMA GUIDE AND GO THROUGH YOUR BOOK. )
-Spelling mistakes
-Grammar errors
-Bad Dialogue (this can lose more than one depending on how bad it is).
-No sentence structure (all super short or long sentences in a paragraph).
-Unrealistic actions
-Switching POVs and/or tenses *5 points off*
-Passive tense sentences
-Bad leads
-Bad covers (only one point)
And others.
I will also give points to:
-character development
-good writing tone
-things and quotes I like
-realistic actions
This is based on the American grading scale with both minuses and pluses.
Rough estimate:
A- 100-90
B- 90-80
C - 75-80
D- 75-65
F- 64 or lower
I will grade the first three chapters, though I can review less if you want, just no grade. (This will also be a lower priority)
I will post your reviews here. Any book that earns a 90% or higher will get mentioned in my Honors chapter (please check it out) and will get a vote on every chapter until you reach 100 mistakes.
If after 3 chapters you have less than 10 mistakes, I will continue through your book until I count 100 mistakes. If you do not make 100 mistakes in your entire book, you will earn High Honors, a following from both my accounts and two votes on every chapter in your book.
