Calypso POV

An awkward silence filled the air. Tension between me and Jungkook was extremely high as we both sat in class. We were supposed to be working on an assignment as seat mates, but we both refused to acknowledge each other. I contemplated trying to talk to him so we could start the work, but I decided against it. I grabbed the assignment off his desk and started working on it.

"Titanium has 4 valence electrons, not 5" I heard his arrogant voice say.

I rolled my eyes. So now he feels like talking to me after ignoring me since the change room incident. I erased my answer so hard I almost ripped a hole through the page.

A voice on the announcement speaker blared "Calypso and Jungkook, please come to the principal's office".

The students in my class began to whisper, probably theorizing the reason we were called to the office.  I stood and walked out the door, not bothering to wait for Jungkook.  His footsteps followed me as I stepped into the principal's office.

The principal looked disappointed. "I'm sure you know why you're here. This morning, I was sent a picture by a student of you two exiting the boys change room. Now, this is clearly a violation of our school policy. God knows what you two kids were doing in there, but-"

My eyes widened. "Sir! It was nothing like that! I can explain-"

"Calypso, I expected more from a top student like you. Same goes for you, Jungkook" he said, looking dissapointed. Jungkook kept a straight face, but I could tell he was annoyed. He probably has never gotten in trouble before, and now his clean record is ruined because of me.

"Since you both have clean records, I won't punish you too severely. You will be in detention today after school. That is all, you may leave" the principal finished.

As I walked through the hallway back to class, Jungkook caught up to me.

"You know this is all your fault, right?"
The fuck did he just say?

"I told you already, I was forced into that change room!" I raised my voice.

"Yeah right, you think I'd believe that?" He laughed in disbelief.

I took a deep breath, trying to control the anger that started to bubble within me.
"So are you saying I snuck in on purpose?" I countered. I started to almost feel hysterical. I couldn't believe that he wouldn't even bother trying to understand my side of the story.

He scoffed "Wow Calypso, I never thought you'd be a pervert"

I took a step forward, bringing myself so close to him our chests were almost touching. I could almost feel my anger radiating off me as I looked at him straight in the eyes.

"Well, at least I'm not a fucking playboy like you,  I'm not the one who slept with my brother's girlfriend!" I said bitterly. For a moment I watched his stunned face. I stared into his deep brown eyes, getting lost in them for a second. I snapped out of my trance as his eyes darkened. Jungkook stiffened and stepped back, distancing himself from me. I clearly hit a sensitive spot.

"What did you just say?" He said sharply, his gaze became cold as ice. "Don't act like you know me, Calypso. You don't. Don't assume things you know nothing about." His words pierced through me. Just for a millisecond I thought I saw a glimpse of vulnerability in his face. At this point we reached our classroom.  Jungkook shot me a dirty look as he entered into the class. I stood in shock, still affected by what he just said.

Narrator POV

Jungkook walked through the hallway, on his way to meet his friends for lunch. As he walked past a group of girls at their lockers, he slowed down when he heard what they were discussing.

"Guess what! Jungkook was in the change room when we pushed Calypso in! OMG, Mei is gonna be so mad when she finds out. I bet Calypso was still super embarrassed!" One of the girls said.

Jungkook stopped in his tracks when he heard Calypso's name.

"I can't believe Mei's plan backfired!" Another girl replied with a giggle.

Calypso wasn't lying  he thought. A wave of guilt washed over him when he remembered that he accused her of being a pervert. Feeling uneasy, he continued walking.

Calypso POV

My heart was beating fast from nervousness as I walked towards the classroom which held my detention. To be honest, this is my first time ever getting in trouble at school, so I felt awful. I was upset because of Jungkook's accusation but I also felt guilty about how I responded by bringing up the rumour. I obviously hurt him too.

I sighed as I walked into the classroom. Jungkook was already there, casually leaned back in his chair, staring into the distance. His eyes focused on me, and there was an expression on his face that I couldn't quite read. It was almost a look of pity.

"Finally, you're here" my drama teacher Mrs. Kang said. "You and Mr. Jeon will be scraping and cleaning all the graffiti off these desks. By the time I come back they better be spotless."

With those instructions, she left the room.
