Taehyung's mind was racing with a million thoughts per second. This could be his perfect chance to get Calypso in trouble, however it involved his best friend. It was at this moment that he realized he had to make a decision. What mattered more to him: his friendship or saving his father's job?
"Hi" a timid voice said behind him.
He turned around and saw Jennie, the short brown-haired girl in his class and drama group. She had a small smile, staring shyly at Taehyung's shoes.
Looking over his shoulder back to where Calypso and Jungkook used to be standing, he saw that they left.
"Uh hey" he replied, his mind still on the incident he just witnessed.
"Would you..." Jennie closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "Would you like to go on a date with me!" said burst out with forced confidence.
Taehyung wasn't surprised. He was used to questions like this, girls confessing to him on the daily basis. Now he had to make yet another rejection. He doesn't do "dates". It's more of a "get a girl for the night and forget about her the next day" kinda thing.
Just as he was about to reject Jennie, he remembered that she was best friends with Calypso.
Taehyung smiled. "Sure..." he replied slyly.
Jennie beamed with happiness, not expecting him to accept.
"You know what, let's actually have a double date." Taehyung continued, feigning interest.
"What? A double date?" Jennie said, confused.
"I've always dreamed of going on one," Taehyung said, cringing on the inside at what he was saying. He came up with a plan.
"Why don't you bring..." he pretended to think, "Your friend Calypso. I'm sure she has a boyfriend or someone to bring along."
"Uh, I don't think she-"
"Great! How about today, after our rehearsal? " Taehyung said.
Jennie stayed silent and then nodded her head in agreement, shocked by Taehyung's behaviour.
"Alright then. Bye Jennie." Taehyung said with a wink, then left her.
"What the fuuuuu?" Jennie muttered to herself.
She pulled out her phone to text her best friend.

Taehyung said yes! I'm going on a date with him!
