I sat on Jungkook's bed along with the others, silently reading the script. I tried to concentrate, but it was hard because I could sense Jungkook's irritation while I sat near him on his bed.Everything was calm until Jennie got to the end of the script and read the last line.
"Oh my god!" She exclaimed.
My head snapped towards her.
"What is it? I haven't finished reading yet" I said.
"Read the last line" Jennie instructed.

"All along I knew. You were my one true love"Alex and Rosa kiss
End of scene
—"There's a kiss?" Taehyung questioned.
Seeing that Jennie was bubbling with excitement, I gave her a "calm down" look. I knew that this was the perfect opportunity for Jennie and Taehyung.
"You know, Jennie is a very good actress, so she should be the lead" I said to Taehyung and Jungkook. I waited for Taehyung to (hopefully) volunteer to be the other lead.
"Well, I'm definitely not playing the lead." Taehyung replied. Although Jennie didn't show it, I knew she was devastated on the inside.
"Well uh, I'm not that good at acting. I'm actually pretty bad" she laughed nervously "the only thing I'm good at is shopping"
"If that's the case, Jennie should not be the lead" Jungkook pointed out.
I realized what I was lowkey dreading: the only options left for the leads were Jungkook and I.
"Calypso, you'll have to be the lead." Jennie said slyly.
I glared at Jennie. She smiled at me knowingly. Clearly she wanted Jungkook and I to finally kiss after our almost-kiss incident.
Just thinking about that sent shivers down my spine. The amount of temptation and attraction to him that I experienced in that moment was overwhelming. That moment replayed in my mind, his lips almost on mine...
"Then Jungkook will have to be the male lead" Taehyung interrupted my thought.
I facepalmed. Jungkook scoffed at my reaction.
"Consider it a privilege, Cal" his arrogant voice drawled.
"It isn't a privilege, Jungkook, it's a punishment." I said, glaring at him.
"Is that so?"
I gulped. I continued to stare him down, refusing to show any signs of weakness.
"There is clearly some unresolved feelings going on here, so I think you guys need to settle that before we can get started on this project." Taehyung said absentmindedly.
"I need a good mark in this course, so please try to work it out" he looked at me, his eyes pleading me to agree. We spent the next hour working on our project before Jennie and Taehyung left. I was forced to stay behind because of a) apparently Jungkook and I need to work out our feelings and b) in order for us to be the main leads we need to feel more comfortable with each other.
"If you could turn into an animal, what would it be?" I interrupted the silence.
"A bunny" Jungkook answered.
"You kinda look like one" I remarked, thinking about his cute bunny teeth that shows when he smiles really hard.
"Yeah, I know I can be pretty adorable"
"That's not what I meant, Jeon" I rolled my eyes at the boy currently spinning in the spinny chair by his desk.
We spent the last 30 minutes asking eachother random questions to hopefully improve our chemistry.
"Ok, my turn. What's your favourite food?" Jungkook asked me.
"That's easy. I looooveeee sushi" My mouth started watering just thinking about it. "if I had to choose between a sushi being destroyed or myself, I would sacrifice myself for the sushi to live"
As soon as those words came out of my mouth I realized I may sound a bit insane. I looked at Jungkook to see his reaction. His lips were parted in surprise, until he finally said "Are you kidding me?" He grinned.
"That's fucking weird, Cal" he let out a whole-hearted laugh.
His smile contagiously spread to me, and soon we were both laughing over the stupid stuff I said.
Our random question game went on, until Jungkook finally asked a question that caught me off guard.
"Why did you leave so suddenly that night?"
My cheeks flushed, I felt vulnerable under his piercing gaze.
"I just..." I tried to think of something to say.
"I've never been that close to a guy before." I spit out as quick as possible.
Jungkook looked stunned.
"Oh" he managed to say.
"Can we talk about something else, please?"
"Yeah, sorry" Jungkook replied. Awkward silence filled the air.
"Do you wanna play mario kart?" Jungkook suggested.
—
"Take that, you lil bitch" I said as Jungkook slipped on my banana.
Jungkook cackled evilly as he sent a red shell after me."No!" I yelled.
Jungkook passed the finish line, winning for the fifth time in a row.
"Not fair." I pouted.
"Come on, where's that confidence you had a second ago?" He teased me.
"Let's play again. I'm going to win" I said seriously.
We started another intense game of mario kart. After a few minutes, we were both racing towards the finish line, neck in neck. I got a speed boost that would propel me forward towards victory. Jungkook grabbed my controller, pushing my hand and causing me to propel myself onto the side of the track instead of forward. Jungkook crossed the finish line and laughed in victory.
I looked at Jungkook in outrage. He simply smirked, and tried to grab the controller out of my hand. Except I didn't let go of it, refusing to acknowledge my defeat. We continued to play tug of war until it turned into a full on wrestle. I was obviously overpowered since he was as strong as the hulk, and soon I was on the floor, Jungkook pinning my hands on the floor above my head.
"Ok, you win!" I gasped through tears of laughter.
"Should I let you go? Or will you try to punch me again?" Jungkook teased.
As soon as he loosed his grip, I pushed forward with all my power, and flipped him over. I was now straddling his waist.
"Oh how the tables have turned"
