Mark sighs softly as he stands in front of the mirror in the bedroom, unable to stop staring at his now growing belly. His bump is visible now. Anyone who sees it will guess that he's pregnant so now Mark is becoming more scared about leaving the house which worries Mason and Scott.
Mark's four months pregnant now, and he knows he's going to have to tell everyone that he's pregnant, and he's not quite sure how to go about it yet. He could just make a meaningful post about the baby and how he's excited about the future. This would also mean that they would have to finally come clean about their polyamory relationship. It's been over a year now since Scott's joined there relationship and they've done a pretty good job at hiding their relationship even though fans definitely suspect they're dating.
Mark gently rubs his belly and can't help but smile.
"There you are gorgeous,"
Mark looks over and blushes when he sees Scott walking into the bedroom.
"Been looking everywhere for you," Scott walks over to him and gently kisses him. "What are you doing?"
"Just... thinkin'," Mark says before looking over at Scott. "I... I want to tell everyone about the babies, and I think that we should. Telling people would mean less stress and the less stress is better for the twins. Telling people about the twins would mean we'll have to tell everyone about our relationship. Would you... be okay with doing that? I know you're protective of your privacy online."
Scott sighs. "I am, but... that's only because I want to protect the people around me. I know now that we're going to have to tell them. People are going to ask questions when two babies suddenly arrive in our life. And... I don't want us, especially you, to have to go through all the troubles of coming up with constant lies. So, I think we should tell them too, and I'm okay with people knowing about our relationship. Things are changing and this is something that I don't want to keep hidden," he says.
Mark smiles, and reaches up to kiss Scott. "I love you," he whispers.
"I love you too," Scott grins, and he leans down to kiss Mark's bump. "And I love our boys too."
"I'm so glad I have two amazing men as the father of my children," Mark says. "My babies are going to be so loved and spoiled rotten." He lets out a happy sigh.
Scott smiles as he stands back up again, gently pulling Mark over to the bed so he can sit down.
"I was thinking, we should have a baby shower. Not all of our friends know yet and... it would be super fun to surprise everyone with a baby shower," Mark says, looking up at Scott.
"It would be fun," Scott nods in agreement. "Let's talk to Mase about a baby shower, okay?"
The next few days is Mark figuring out how to go about the baby shower. He knows they should have it sooner rather than later because it'll get stressful for him and putting stress on the babies is not good. He decides to get a bunch of cute cards and sends them out to all of their friends, and family of course. He's terrified about what their friends are going to say about the pregnancy. He hopes they'll be supportive.
"I'm scared. What are people gonna say? What if no one shows up?" Mark asks, grabbing at his hair.
"Okay, we already know a bunch of people who are coming," Scott says. He looks over at Mark and frowns at him. "Hey, don't do that." He walks over to Mark and grabs his hands, holding onto it gently. "Don't stress out about this. All of our friends are gonna come over and we're gonna celebrate the babies, because that's what they deserve. It's what you deserve."
Mark whimpers and buries his face in Scott's chest. "I'm stressed. I'm tired of being stressed!"
"It's okay, baby. I promise it's going to be okay," Scott whispers as he pulls Mark into a comforting hug. After getting Mark to calm down again, and get him excited about the baby shower too, the two boys continue to finish with their decorating. Mason had to work today, and was on his way from work.
