A/N: sorry it took so long, but here is the birth chapter finally :)

"Mase, I'm so fucking nervous," Scott sniffs as he stands with Mason in the waiting room. They finally get Mark to the hospital, but they've been instructed to wait in the waiting room. Mason and Scott want nothing more than to be in that room with Mark and to be able to comfort him.

"I know, Scotty. We just have to have hope that everything will turn out fine," Mason whispers.

"Mason Catt?"

Mason looks over and sighs in relief when he sees a doctor. "That's me," he says.

"Ah, you must be the father-"

Scott frowns and crosses his arms against his chest, already feeling left out.

"Oh, we both are the father-" Mason replies quickly, placing a hand on Scott's arm, and Scott feels grateful that Mason actually includes him instead of leaving him in the dark. "It's rather complicated and we really don't have time to explain our relationship with Mark."

"Okay," the doctor shakes his head, deciding not to question. "Anyways... we're about to do the c-section on Mark. Now, we've only done this a couple times so far. You know, male pregnancy is something that's still very new. I don't want to scare you but there is a chance something can go wrong. If that happens and we can only save one of the two, which would you like us to save?"

Mason looks over at Scott with wide eyes, afraid of this question would come up.

"What did Mark tell you? You said you talked about it before," Scott whispers.

"H-He asked us to save the babies," Mason whispers. "B-But I can't lose Mark. He's my best friend!"

"My advice would be to grant the father's wishes," the doctor tells him.

Mason bites his lip slightly as tears begin to form in his eyes, before slowly nodding. "O-Okay," he says. "But... you better do every fucking thing you can to make sure that it doesn't have to come down to that, or I swear to God I will sue this hospital." He takes a deep breath.

"Masey," Scott whispers as he gently wraps an arm around Mason.

"Of course, Sir. We will do everything in our power," the doctor says, nodding. "Normally we would allow both parents to be in the room but because of the circumstances, we ask that you both wait outside. I will be back as soon as I get any type of news about Mark."

Mason watches as the doctor walks away, before turning and burying his face in Scott's chest.

"Holy shit," Scott breathes, holding onto Mason tightly.

Scott and Mason sit and wait for what feels like hours. Mason starts to lose hope as time passes, though Scott tries his best to have hope that everything will be fine and Mark will be okay, and the twins.

Scott also has to sit through the many calls and texts they receive from various friends and family.

Five hours of waiting, a doctor finally comes out. Scott hits Mason's arm multiple times before standing up from the chair he's been sitting in. "Please tell me you have good news," he says.

"I actually do have good news," the doctor says. "Mark is fine."

"Oh thank God," Mason places a hand on his chest, relieved. "Thank fucking God."

Scott smiles and grabs a hold of Mason. "And... the twins?" He asks nervously. "They're okay too?"

"There were a few complications here and there but, everyone is okay-"

"Oh my God!" Scott exclaims, throwing his arms around Mason and hugging him, allowing a few tears that he's been holding back to slip out. He pulls away from the hug and kisses Mason. "I told you."

Mason chuckles. "I know you did," he whispers, kissing Scott once more. "May we see them?"

"Please, we've been waiting hours. We just want to make sure they're okay," Scott begs.

"Of course, though please keep in mind all three have been through a lot the past few hours and they're both exhausted. You'll have to be easy on them," the doctor warns.

Mason nods, and then he and Scott follow the doctor to Mark's room. The doctor opens the door, and Mason takes a deep breath before stepping into the room. His eyes light up when he sees that Mark's awake and holding one of the twins. He obviously looks exhausted, but also happy at the same time.

"Oh, Mark-" Mason whispers before rushing over to him.

Mark looks up and smiles as soon as he sees Mason. "Masey!"

"God, I was so fucking worried about you-" Mason says as he hugs Mark, being extra careful not to hurt the baby in his arms. "Are you okay? Do you need anything?"

"I'm fine-" Mark laughs. "I have everything I need right here. I have my boys, and the twins are healthy."

Scott rushes beside Mason, smiling when he sees Mark. "Oh wow," he breathes when he sees the baby, before looking over at Mark. "I'm so glad you're okay-" He leans down and kisses Mark.

"You know, I just realized-" Mason chuckles. "We never got around to thinking of baby names." He looks down at the baby and smiles, gently stroking the hair on his head. "God, he's gorgeous. Just like you."

"Here, I have the list of names we picked out-" Scott pulls out his phone. "Shane, Justin, Seth, Blake-"

"Ooh, I like Shane. I remember liking that one-" Mark smiles, resting his head against the pillow.

"Okay. Are we matching?" Scott asks.

"No," Mark and Mason reply at the same time, earning a laugh from Scott.

"Okay, okay. I get it. We also have Ethan, Elijah, Logan, Caleb, Hunter, Joshua-"

"Elijah is so cute," Mason says. "Elijah and Shane. Can we please?" He grabs a hold of Scott.

"Don't look at me. We agreed Mark would make the final decisions on the names," Scott says.

"Elijah is perfectly fine with me, Mase," Mark smiles and looks down at the baby. "What do you think, mister? Do you wanna be called Elijah? We can call you Eli for short if you hate it."

Scott smiles and rests his head on Mason's shoulder, watching Mark fondly.

"Oh, good. You're all here-"

Scott blinks a few times and looks behind him, seeing a nurse walk in with the other twin. "You'll be happy to ear that both of the twins are perfectly healthy," she says. She looks up at Scott. "Here-"

Scott's eyes widen as the baby is placed in his arms. "Oh-" He nervously glances over at Mason.

"Do we have any names picked out?" The nurse asks.

"Elijah and Shane," Mark answers. "Scotty's holding Shane."

"Beautiful names for beautiful baby boys," the nurse smiles. "You'll need rest in a bit, you and the twins... it's been a long night for all of you. You know what to do if you need anything."

Scott watches as the nurse walks out of the room, before looking back over at Mason nervously. "Mase, do you...? I mean... they are your babies. You should hold them," he says.

Mark looks up at Scott and frowns. "The babies are yours too," he speaks up.

"Yeah. How many times do we have to tell you?" Mason leans up and kisses Scott. "They be mine, but you're just as much of a father as I am. You are they're father, got it?"

"Yes sir," Scott replies, blushing. "I'm sorry. I just-"

"Don't apologize," Mason chuckles, and wraps an arm around Scott as he looks down at the baby.

"Can you believe it?" Scott smiles. "Our boys." He lets out a sigh of content.

"Our boys," Mason repeats as he rests his head on Scott's shoulder, a smile on his face.
