Scott finally makes it home. He's still a little bit shaken up from the encounter with the man at the store.

Scott bites his lip nervously as he hesitantly walks into the house with the bags in his hands. He can hear distant chatter. He knows more people have shown up at the house.

Scott walks into the kitchen, relieved to see that no one else is in the kitchen, and then he places the bags on the counter. He quickly turns around and starts heading towards the stairs but jumps when he hears someone calling his name. He takes a deep breath and looks over, only to find Mitch standing there.

"Scott, you're back-" Mitch smiles, then the smile fades when he sees the look on Scott's face. "Scott? What's wrong?" He walks over to him, but Scott quickly backs away.

"I'm f-fine," Scott replies, glancing up at Mitch.

"You're not fine. Did something happen while you're gone?" Mitch asks worriedly.

"No, Mitch. I'm fine. I just... I have to use the bathroom," Scott says. "I'll be back down in a sec-" He turns and runs up the stairs before Mitch can say anything back to him.

Mitch frowns as he watches Scott. He knows that Scott's lying to him, and now he's worried. He quickly goes to find Mark and Mason. He sees the two with Connie and Rick, who's just arrived with the twins.

"Mark, Mason-" Mitch grabs them both and pulls them aside.

"What's going on?" Mark asks as he looks over at Mitch. "You look worried?"

"I am worried. Scott just got back... I tried talking to him, but he just didn't seem himself," Mitch says.

"Not himself? What are you talking about?" Mason asks, his full attention on Mitch. "He was fine earlier..."

"Well, something must have happened while he was out. I tried asking about it but, he ran away from me, said he had to use the bathroom. He didn't want to talk to me, and that never happens," Mitch says.

"I don't know..." Mark stares at him. "Maybe... he did just have to use the bathroom?"

"No, something's wrong, Mark. I wouldn't be talking to you about this if there wasn't something wrong. Trust me, I've known Scott since I was eight years old," Mitch says.

Mason sighs, and runs a hand through his hair. "Look, the party's about to start. People are showing up. There's nothing much we can do right now other than keep an eye on him. After the party's over, then we'll talk to him and see if he says anything," he says.

"Fine," Mitch says, defeated, knowing that Mason's right. Scott won't talk anyways, when he's been stressing over getting the party ready all day "But we need to talk to him. You know how Scott gets when he starts bubbling his feelings up inside of him. It gets bad."

"We know," Mark and Mason say at the same time, having experienced Scott shutting himself down before. Luckily they've learnt how to dealt with times when Scott is like that.

Scott comes back down about fifteen minutes later, Mark and Mason instantly spot him.

"There you are, princess," Mason greets as he walks over to him, he tries to kiss him but Scott pulls away, earning a frown from Mason. Scott never declines his kisses. "Is everything okay?"

"What?" Scott asks, blinking a few times. "No, I'm fine."

"Okay, well-" Mason stares at him. "How was the store? Did you get everything?"
