Avery or Ben

No one said a word. Ben / Avery looks at his fathers'. They look at him. Their silence made it obvious they were having a private conversation in Wulf speak.

Alpha breaks the silence, Alpha says, "And That settles that...... BEN it is." The trio laugh as Ben responds, faking an enormous child-like tantrum stomping his feet "awwwww, really come on!" then we enter.

Alpha and Ben explode into laughter. Thom and Primo stay silent following behind the pair heading inside. The two behaving like drunk humans. As if whatever conversation they had with Luna and Thom were funny and not important.

Thom and Luna go into the kitchen, pour themselves some coffee silently. Then come back to the pair on the sofa laughing at some joke "really Avery, as BIG as you are!!" says Alpha. we all just watch them not sure if we should talk.

Ben looks lovingly at Thom who turns red as a tomato under his gaze "and you darling mate. Are getting marked the NEXT FULL MOON!" grabbing Thom and lifting him bodily this time. Planting a hard-pressured kiss on his lover's cheek.

Luna smiles finally saying "THOM YOU IN TROUBLE!! LOOK AT HIS TEETH! YOUR MARKING Will HURT! HURT! HURTT!"

Ben turns red and grabs his father Alejandro "you!!" squeezing. Luna hitting and pushing on Bens powerfully flexing arms "BEN LET GO RUBEN HELP!!" Alpha, had gone into the kitchen and ate the melting ice cream Thom brought.
Returning, Alpha appears with a spoon handle sticking out of his mouth.

Now he pulls it out. Holding the spoon, he flicks it up and down at Ben speaking a southern accent. "Now, now son, you'll know better dan to treat your fragile Luna dat way!"

Placing his hand on the side of his mouth Alpha drops his voice to a whisper saying "Just don't break the bottom half I need that for later" they both laugh as Ben now lets go of Luna with Luna screaming "you ass!!!" at Alpha.

Thom suddenly stops saying, "OH SHIT ALEX!" Suddenly jumping up running to Alex who is still standing where we left him out of respect. Alex waves like a small child saying, "YoooHooo, remember me?!" with a smile on his face.

Ben gives a short growl and Ruben, seeing his jealous nature appear, goes overthrows his arm around his waist saying "ahhhh. Ain't love grand!!! You need clothes. Let's get you dressed before what happened to Luna when WE MET happens to you also" from the kitchen you hear Luna scream "RUBEN ACOSTA!!!!"

Who is now pushing a hesitant Ben out the door screaming "BOY HURRY BEFORE HE THROWS SOMETHING!! YOU KNOW him A MAISONET! THEY CRAZYYYY!" and they leave. Ben slightly glaring at Alex. Luna joins them heading next door. So as not to leave him alone again, I entertain Alex Thom's friend and learn a lot about his coven. During our conversations, I think of Primo. I knew he was deep in thought. So much continually happens within our pack, Yet he hides it well. When titi and Mima talk with Alex I excuse myself. Leaving him with the others having coffee.

I look for Primo in the living room; he is not there. I see Ruben excitedly happy at the new mates and Ben cuddling Thom. Asking Alpha where he was, he tells me Luna is next door. Leaving the pack, I go check on him. Entering, I noticed the balcony door open; the curtains decorating the door swaying through it, a dead giveaway. Approaching the balcony doors, I Find him there sitting on the three-seater bamboo chair holding a glass of wine in his left hand. He is looking out across the terrace to the parking lot we face. His eyes are red and irritated from crying.

Without saying a word, I sit next to him quietly. Waiting a few minutes before speaking. I can tell he appreciated it because after a while he looks at me with attempting a smile "Thank you for keeping me company. Is everything ok?" I smile back "yes, I wanted to come and be with the man who is my father who is hurting right now." Attempting Beta's sass, I poorly sway my head which looks more like I was having a convulsion than being sarcastic "what?? I can't stay. Let me know I will leave." Now as he wipes at his eyes, Luna chuckles. "Alina Your not Roderick but nice try."

He has a point. I get up and go to sit next to him moving his legs "On On move them." He does. I lay with my back against his rib cage my head resting against his right chest "so much has happened in recent months. But it does not change that we are family." Luna chuckles a little better this time. "Right. You're also all grown, no longer the cubs I raised. I am just having a tough time letting go. He came back and now is home the way he always dreamed Alina."

I sit up scooting over next to him, still looking out across the balcony "and it is where we will stay. We owe our lives to your primo. But that is not why we stay. Some cubs and animals stay out of the compassion and love you gave us. We trust you. But we must grow Luna. It is the Goddess way. Look at Ben, he has become whole in so many ways. Thanks to you, his love and devotion to you rival's Alphas. Thom saw this and will not take that away from you or him. You took Ben in not being blood and raised him with more love than any of us could give him. We all know Ben has always wanted to be wulf to show you the depth of his own love for you. He would give his life equally for you and us as would you. Maybe not in blood primo, but Ben, in all other ways. Is your son."

Primo leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees, cupping the wineglass with both hands, running a finger along the rim he considers the wine. Taking a deep breath, he sighs and now stands. He looks at me; I see the smile and light half returning to his eyes I grew up with. "Your right Alina I guess I thought I was losing my son somehow."

He leans giving me a cheek kiss. "Well, I believe all this time I left Thom's friend alone. It is rude to leave a guest unattended." His tone becomes lighter still with now some sass as he gets ready to leave saying "HOW RUDE OF ME!!" I chuckle and get up joining him. He takes me into a hug smiling as he pulls back "how did you become so wise, eh?" hugging me in his arm bringing me to his chest for good measure. I look up meeting his gaze. "I am a Maisonet. It runs in the family and because you lost yours for a moment." We laugh a little walking now.

As we pass the threshold to our left, there is Ruben standing. With a smile, Ruben comes to us and then wraps his big arms around Luna kissing him "Better?" Luna gives him a peck kiss back shrugging his shoulders "ehhh, getting there." They hold hands, the three of us heading to the others. "You will like Alex. He's a witch!" Luna laughs "Really?? then he fits right in with the rest of us supernaturals." We head back and formally meet, Alex of SHADOW WOOD TOWN.
