Darkness Returned

Ta's portal opens right in front of the pack house. We all ran through it in an instant. Primo follows Alpha towards the battle. Alpha had phased tearing off to the border with Beta, Robert, Ben, Thom, Tito, and the lounge members following. Alpha shoots me a Wulf Speak "Check on the pack house and then join us, Alina." She responds, "Yes Alpha." speeding off. 

My thoughts racing as I remember the conversation Delta relayed the night she killed Selene. "A surprise is coming for your Luna bitch. I die knowing HE TO WILL DIE!!! Alpha will be MATELESS AND LOSE HIS MIND!!"

I growl as I also remember Carrie's vision as well "darkness is coming and so is death. Sable must return and we must unite the Celestial Seven to protect our kind and all of humanity once more. Blood will kill Blood, death will claim one guardian & another will be born. Beware Ruben, Protect him fore only you can control him."  Both visions are similar. Both visions foreboding death to my mate. NO HARM WILL COME TO MY MATE OR PACK!!! I roar as I continue running towards the battle. Sable suddenly breaks into my thought. Luna brings me out of my thoughts. 

You should have told me, Ruben, what mom and Carmen told you. We are bonded nothing is a secret." Ruben responds, "For so long I have waited for you. When you came, I knew my life was made complete then and every day thereafter Alexi. I sought and will always seek to protect you. I am sorry my love. I will DIE FIRST before it harms a single hair on your body." 

I feel reassured, confident. I know he means it. I whine feeling reassured as I know my Alpha is also MY reason to live. But all I say is "I love you, Ruben. Don't die!" He stops running, turns at his side and licks my muzzle. "We Are one mi amour. I will never leave you alone. Or did you forget my promise?" For a moment we touch foreheads as I say, "No I have not my mate." My mate, for a second I proudly look at him, then we take off again to the border.

Arriving, Alejandro and I survey with a snarl. Then we immediately launch ourselves at the intruders. Beta breaks away to cut off and kill the rogues attempting to spread out to surround us. Their goal, to block us from reaching the only portal being held open by the invaders mystic wers. Allowing them to pour through. Suddenly I see Randall freeze, his Beta markings Illuminate exponentially as he confronts one sole wulf.  Then I recognize him.... FERNANDO. I go to warn Beta ....but it is too late.

Reaching dabattlefield we separate. Luna, Kodiak, and Kerval tear off together ta my right. Alpha, Tito and my Faust go to my left. With the aid of the supes from the lounge, I take da direct course. Gayly forward. Grabbing da first rogue, I summon a tornado, ta lift him along with a few of his buddies up and into da lava ring Alpha summons around the barrier's breach. Until a nightmarish voice stops me. "Hello Randall. OR should I say BETA".

An aura of darkness permeated around him, reeking of rotting flesh. At hearing his voice I froze FROZE. A powerful chilling current runs thru my body. My eyes turn chocolate fire. Glowing so intense, my ethereal energy crackles like fire was coming out of them. I will recognize him till da day I die. Turning I face the wulf I killed years ago protecting my brother from him. The one I THOUGHT, was my mate. Fernando.

I respond. My voice lowes, matching the same poisonous dead tone in Fernando's. Only mine expresses a deadly rage with a dry, cold, icy stillness "YOUUU." I am done. So to is COCOA. His rage shows, eyes crackling deep chocolate brown energy. Cocoa speaks to me with a hated chilling death tone "HE IS MINE RANDALL!" Instantly my astral human form feels cocoa energy overwhelm me from the astral plane. He is trying to suppress me. By doing so Cocoa can unleash his full might into our Beta form. But my wulf companion should know. I WANT DIS BEYOTCH!! Adding my desire with my wulf's. Our Beta tribal markings explode igniting, radiating power. The hurricane rings encasing my form explode spiraling so intensely, they created wind booms around all four feet, neck, and tail.
