Surprise

 Arriving at the apt building in the evening. After getting settled I notice Ben was slightly nervous. His eyes continually flashing from wulf to human. He also stayed close to Alpha & Luna. Luna, seeing the behavior change in his cub, had begun becoming protective over Ben. His unintended glare stopping anyone from getting to close to Ben except Tito and myself, his original birth pack. Alpha had become a little aggressive with Luna urging him to calm down. Ben on the other hand slowly began to relax, keeping himself busy by scenting everything in their apt. Ruben watching always took pride in everything LUNA would do. Including decorating.

Alpha starts explaining to Ben about Luna's obsession with fragrance poking fun at Luna. Alexi raised an eyebrow and gives a witty response "YOU MR. ACOSTA will be aiiight." Ben turned to Alpha "Everything smells like spring river and honey blossoms" Ruben looking to Ben, stays quiet for a moment. But now he stops and looking at TITI he asks "Ma, is it?" Titi looks back, smiles and simply half nods her head as she says "yes".

BETA chimes in to defend his ALPHA "GURL he right smells like a Tibetan temple up in here." Causing a witty sassiness to erupt between Beta and LUNA while Titi & Mima took over the kitchen throwing away what had expired saying "you see Carrie, what will they do without us!! DIOSA MIO!! (MY GODDESS!) before beginning dinner.

Luna had lived here alone before he met ALPHA with DELTA CARMEN across the hall. Well, in a one bedroom apartment back then. After, he helped management with a theft issue. The management and he had become close. So, later when he requested a three bedroom (obviously for pack reasons) he got it. This is where most of the family would be staying. Titi Carrie would be staying with ALPHA, LUNA, & Ben across the hall in Carmen's two-bedroom apt. Ben choose the floor because he liked the rug.

After dinner, we were all kicked out of the kitchen so Titi and Mima could clean up undisturbed. They immediately started in about how their boys lived. Unfortunately at the expense of Alpha & Luna AND for all to hear. The way they chatted up a storm in the kitchen. You would think they had not seen each other in years as Mima starts the conversation and tit carrie responds to her

MIMA: "no matter how big they are. They are still pigs"

TITI Carrie: "hai si mija. I tell Alexi to always keep it clean because you never know."

Mima: "YES!! I tell Ruben THE SAME THING!!"

TITI Carrie: "Did you see that milk mija! It was THREE WEEKS EXPIRED! Who drinks that!!"

Mima: "DIOSA SANTA (holy Goddess)!! What are we going to do? Snickering"

TITI Carrie: " Ya Tú Sabes MIJA Boys ARE BOYS!! Giggling"

Mima: "Mira Carrie, when Ruben was little I was ALWAYS fighting with him to take a bath."

TITI Carrie: "Tu TAMBIEN!! (YOU TOO!! Ahiii MIJA (GOD GIRL) ALEXI WAS THE WORST FOR THAT!!"

Then we hear them both simultaneously say, "NO WONDER THEIR MATES!!" cackling as Mima Starts making coffee. I looked at my Alpha and Luna had turned Red. Don Yonell made the mistake of walking into the kitchen and he was met with an abrupt dead silence followed by MIMA asking "Di, que quieres? Yes, what do you want?"

Don Yonell: "Coffee?"

Mima: "when it is done. OUT."

Don Yonell comes to the living room with a grin saying wide eyed, "don't go in there, they bite"

We chuckle. The kitchen chatter resumes. Alpha, who had been keeping a close eye on a fidgety Ben during dinner decided, he, Ben, and Don Yonell would go next door to watch a game. Ben agreed and went just to be with his father.
