Hello there reader, and thank you for reading my book! I sincerely appreciate you taking time out of your busy day to read a story I've long wanted to share with the world.
That being said, I'd also like to share with you that this story will be undergoing major revisions and edits in the near future to bring the quality of writing up to a standard and caliber that I believe my readers deserve. Essentially, what you've read was not the final version of the events that transpired in the kingdom they called Valadel.
Rather, it was a very early and rough draft of a story that continues to broaden and mature beyond my original vision from when I was 16. I have already outlined and planned out my rewrite of Valadel, and will start working on it this fall.
The key and critical elements of the plot will remain untouched, although there may be minor revisions made to tell a more fleshed-out and realized story. It will not in any way affect the storyline of my second installment, Valadel : The Kingdoms of Men.
It is simply a makeover that very few chapters will escape, as I find that my original writing from my first foray into fictional storytelling has not aged well.
And lastly, if you have any thoughts or tips for me after having made your journey to Valadel, please share! I take into great consideration advice given to me by fellow readers and writers. It takes a village to raise a child, after all.
