He's mine

I was walking in the park. I pushed up my glasses and looked around at the children playing. I smiled, I love kids they're so cute. I sat down at a bench to wait for my friend. I got out on my phone and texted her and told her I was waiting in the park. She was running a little late but I don't mind. I heard a little giggle and looked up I smiled seeing a little boy who was probably around the age of two. "Hi there" I said. He just giggled, he's so cute I can't Oml. I looked around, I didn't see anyone. "Where's your parents?" I asked knowing I wasn't going to get a answer. "Noah?" I heard someone nervously call out. I turned my head and saw a guy looking around. As soon as he saw me his face lit up. "Oh my god" he rushed over towards me. "Thank you so much for finding him" he said.  Noah smiled hugging his legs He smiled and picked him up. "He's adorable" I smiled. "Yeah" he smiled at me. "Is he your brother?" "No, he's mine" he said. "Awe, how old is he?" "He's going to be two next month" he smiled as Noah played started playing with his hair. "Awe" I smiled. *time skip*

We've been talking for a while. He's names Colby and he's been raising Noah by himself for a long time now. His mother didn't want to go through with having him but Colby begged her to keep him. Then when Noah was born she left and Colby hasn't seen her since. "I'm really sorry, it must be really hard" "It is.. I need to find Noah a new babysitter soon before I go back to work next week" "I can do it" I smiled. "Really?" He smiled. "Of course, I love kids and Noah is adorable" "You are amazing, thank you so much" "No problem" I smiled. "Okay give me your phone" he smiled. I unlocked my phone and handed it to him. "I go back to work next Wednesday, are you free then?" He put in his number and gave my phone back to me. "I'm pretty sure" I smiled. "Okay, great, thank you so much" he smiled. "You're welcome" I smiled. "It's already 2? Wow, we need to get going Noah, Uncle Elton's waiting on us" Colby said picking him up. Noah smiled at me and waved. "Say bye bye" Colby said waving with him. "Bye bye" Noah said. "Awe" I smiled and waved. "Thank you so much again" Colby smiled. "You're welcome again" I chuckled. He chuckled walking off. I smiled as Noah looked back at me. I can't He's so cute and also Colby is too, I see where Noah gets it from. *time skip to Wednesday*

I knocked on Colby's apartment door. I was a little early, Colby smiled opening the door. "Hi (y/n)" he said letting me in. "Noah look who's here" Colby said taking me into their living room. Noah's face lit up when he saw me. "He really likes you" Colby smiled. "Yeah" I smiled. "So, I'll be home around 10ish, is that okay?" "Of course it is" "Okay just making sure" he said. *time skip*

I put Noah to bed and about two hours later Colby got home. "Hey, how'd everything go?" He smiled sitting down next to me. "Great, he's sleeping" I smiled. "Great" he said. "How was work?" I asked. "Tiring" he said. "I'm sorry" I said. "It's fine" he said. After a while of talking I decided I should get going. "Wait I didn't pay you" he said reaching for his back pocket. "No, no, no, it's okay" I said. "(Y/n) I'm paying you" he pulled out his wallet and held out a 20. "No, Colby keep it, really it's fine" "take it" he said. "No, keep it" I said. He grabed my hand and placed the 20 in it "you deserve it" he said. I blushed a little. "Fine. But this is one time" "No, I'm paying you everytime" he said. "Fine" I said putting the 20 in my pocket. "Good" he chuckled. "Anyways, see you tomorrow" he said. "See ya tomorrow" I smiled walking out. Can't wait till tomorrow.
