[ Taeyong | Sicheng | Ten | Johnny | Lucas | Jungwoo | Mark ]

Jungwoo walks into home economics class while blowing his bangs. It was quite obvious this week has been crazy for him considering he was framed for something he didn't do and accepting the punishment he shouldn't have been given in the first place.

The first thing he sees is Mark casually sending his finger guns towards Donghyuck. The two have been going on and on ever since his best friend conquered his fear of talking to his not so obvious crush. At least, Mark was living a better week than him.

"Hey," Jungwoo sighs and looks Mark in the eyes. A part of him wanted to tell his best friend what really happened, but he just couldn't do it. After hearing about how excited Mark was for prom, there was no way to break the news to him. "D—don't worry, I'm fine."

Mark lifts up his eyebrows at the sight of Jungwoo's stuttering tone. There were only two occasions when his best friend would 'suffer'. The first one would be when he was near Lucas and the second? When he was lying, duh. "Are you sure? You don't sound too good."

To be honest, Jungwoo wanted to scream and cry out his feelings, but he has to suck it up. This is what Sicheng wanted, to see him break down into pieces. And, it's all because of something so stupid. "Yeah, I've never been better! Enough about me, how about you? He continues, faking a chuckle. "Did you put the moves on Donghyuck?"

Mark fumbles with his fingers and feels his ears redden. What did his best friend mean by 'put the moves'? Pfft! He didn't lay a finger on Donghyuck. Not yet, anyway. "I haven't even asked him out for prom, stupid."

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Jungwoo grins as he gives Mark the extra push he needed. It takes a lot of confidence for his best friend to even have an actual conversation with Donghyuck, let alone stare into his eyes for longer than three seconds.

Mark hisses the moment Jungwoo pushes his shoulder. All right! Today was the day he became a man and asked Donghyuck to prom. He's no longer a little boy no more! With his seagull eyebrows raised to the full maximum power, Mark walks towards Donghyuck.

"D—ding dong! Will you go to prom with me?" Mark says as he realizes what he had done. Not only did he butcher the love of his life's name, but called him a dick! "N-no, I mean dong ding!" Damn it! He was given a second chance to redeem himself but ultimately screwed up.

It's a good thing Donghyuck didn't mind the mess up considering he was whipped enough for Mark to see beyond the 'ding dong'. All he does is sport his usual cute pout, but this time his lips slightly twitch upwards. "Yes, Mark. I would love to go to prom with you."

Mark nodded in disappointment. He frowns and then mentally cries at the rejection he just heard-wait what? Oh my god, did Donghyuck really say yes? "Really? You're willing to go to prom with this pile of stupid over here?"

"Even if you're stupid, it doesn't affect my l—love for you." Donghyuck blushes, hiding his face in his sleeves. He finally said it, after all this time of silently watching Mark from afar. "D—don't look at me. I'm red."

This just in, Mark could feel his heart bursting out of his chest at any moment and it's all Donghyuck's fault. He turns towards to Jungwoo, whipping out not one but two thumbs up. "Thanks, best friend!"

Jungwoo tilts his head upwards squealing. For sure, he's making some inhumane noises right now, but it was all worth it! To see his best friend finally confessing his feelings and winning Donghyuck over? Nothing can get better than this.

Fortunately, Jungwoo's luck hasn't run out. Mark signals him to look behind and of course, there Lucas was, holding a couple of flowers wrapped around with some paper towels from the boy's restroom.
