"I haven't seen you around, beautiful." Taeyong waves, taking a seat beside Jungwoo on one of the reading couches. "Are you avoiding me on purpose?"
Jungwoo closes his book shut and turns to face Taeyong. If he had considered to look outside the library, then maybe he could have found him. "Unlike you, I have a social life outside the library."
Taeyong grins, placing his hand on his cheek. Ah, there it was, the feisty attitude. He uses his eyes to scan his surroundings and noticed a snake with fangs. It was one thing to have Sicheng on his trail, but now he's stalking him? Wow, that boy was desperate. "How about we ditch this place?"
"Look, I'm not here to play games." Jungwoo grits his teeth and puts his book in the bag. He's trying his hardest to not cause a scene, but it's so hard when all eyes were on Taeyong. "FYI, I'm not interested."
Everything about Jungwoo was hot. The thing was, Taeyong wasn't used to chasing around a person. In fact, he was usually the kind of guy who was chased around. "Listen, I really don't want to lose you."
Jungwoo stops and swings his bag around his shoulder. It took a good five seconds for him to see Taeyong in a different light. And another two seconds for him to hold his hand. "What are you doing?"
"Doesn't this make your heart beat?" Taeyong swallows, clearing his throat. It would be a total lie if he didn't try this out to all the girls and guys he's dated, but he forgot one thing. Jungwoo had no interest whatsoever. This type of 'tactic' would only work if the feelings were mutual.
Shaking his head, Jungwoo's lips curved downwards. If he was any more honest, then it actually had the opposite effect. He feels really gross and disgusted at the fact someone other than Lucas was holding his hand. W—wait, did he just...bring up that idiot? Oh my god. This was so not happening!
"Sorry, I actually feel like I'm going to gag." Jungwoo pulls away from Taeyong's grip and strolls towards the exit.
It's such a shame, his last resort didn't work. Taeyong tilts his head downwards and rubs his temple. There goes the possible boy of his dreams. Should he go and chase him? It's hard to even think about it considering he just flat out told him he's disgusted by him.
"Hey," Sicheng sits down, patting his back with ease. It took a moment for Taeyong to acknowledge his presence.
Raising an eyebrow, Taeyong slowly looks up and notices Sicheng staring at him oddly. It's not like he didn't get used to his annoying stares since everywhere he went, that lunatic was there, but this time, he had a clearer view of his face. And, it's not entirely bad.
What do you want? Can't you give me some space? Why are you always following me? Those were all the questions he had for Sicheng, but in the end, Taeyong chose to start a conversation. "You should stop stroking my hair. I'm not your pet."
Sicheng pouts and continues to do the opposite of what Taeyong wanted. "I don't know, I kind of wished you were one. Pets, especially dogs, usually obey their owners."
"Good thing I'm not one of your playthings. I wouldn't want to be around you all day." Taeyong sports his usual smirk and stuffs his hands in his pockets before getting up.
This left Sicheng feeling utterly pissed off. Why was Taeyong so hard to obtain? It's not like he was lacking in some way. He had everything—money, status, and power. That's basically all anyone ever needed in this hierarchy!
"You'd regret pushing me away," Sicheng says, watching him as he walks towards the exit. "Your loss, honey."

Wow, good thing Sicheng x Taeyong can never happen. Who would even want to date someone like Sicheng anyways? Even Taeyong was like nope, I'm out.
