[ Taeyong | Sicheng | Ten | Johnny | Lucas | Jungwoo | Mark ]

It's all fun and games until Sicheng and his goons played a little too serious. By that, Jungwoo really means he didn't think they would stoop this low, but of course, never underestimate an ugly. They're capable of doing anything.

"I'm telling the truth, I was framed." Jungwoo confidently says while gritting his teeth. Of course, he isn't going to accept defeat without a fight. If Sicheng wanted to play dirty, then it's up to him to clean his shitty mess up. "I did not steal the answers to the exam."

Not believing a word, Sicheng snorts. He pretends to have this 'disappointed' look on his face, but deep down Jungwoo knows he's enjoying this a little too much. "But, isn't this proof enough?"

Kun bites his lip as he can feel the intense burning stare from Jungwoo. To be honest, he's not really all great in these types of situations, so he's just going to stay silent. That's Sicheng's job. He's more convincing than him and Chenle combined.

"I want to believe you, but we all saw you pull it out." Mrs. Kim says with a deepened voice.

It's been awhile since Jungwoo has heard the 'disappointing' tone, but considering what has happened, he isn't surprised. Even with the proof being weak and half-assed, it was still something. "But, Mrs. Kim! You have to believe me. Why would I even cheat on your exams? I always get everything right."

"Maybe that's how you got the perfect marks." Sicheng whistles with his lip curling upwards. This was too easy and Jungwoo's starting to bore him with the 'it's not me' thing he has going on. "Just admit it, I'm sure your punishment would be lessened if you confess."

Mrs. Kim steps away for a second as she talks to the principal. From the corner of Jungwoo's eye, he can see her lips moving along with some hand gestures. Oh my god, this can't be good.

"I told you to not mess with my man." Sicheng fakes a smile. His voice was at an all-time low, but considering he couldn't speak in his normal snarky voice, it was less annoying.

Flicking his gaze, Jungwoo believes Sicheng was born stupid. Sometimes he has to tell himself it isn't worth it to reply back, but it's not like he's going to give him the last laugh. "For the last time, I'm not interested in your man." He continues, pointing to his head. "Do you even have a brain?"

Sicheng gasps at the sound of Jungwoo yelling in front of his face. The nerve! After all his thought of keeping everything calm, this is what he repays him back with? Not surprised, trash will always be trash. "D—did you just call me an idiot?"

Yeah, that's the shortened version. If only he was this fast to catch on, then Jungwoo wouldn't have to waste his time on this. "Calling you an idiot would be an insult to stupid people."

Jungwoo feels content knowing Sicheng didn't get what he wanted. By now, he expected him to go beg on his knees and ask for something stupid like 'forgiveness', but that's not his style.

It takes awhile for Mrs. Kim to be face to face with Jungwoo. To be honest, it was totally unfair he had to put up with being punished for something he didn't do, but it's not like he had anything to prove them wrong.

"Jungwoo. The principal wanted you to repeat my class over again, but I talked to him and convinced him to rethink it." Mrs. Kim releases a heavy sigh as she pauses. "To make things fair, in order to warn you not to be academically dishonest, we agreed to punish you by banning your attendance from school-related events in the upcoming year."

Feeling utterly confused, Jungwoo lifted up his arched brow. How would banning him from these events teach him a thing of academic dishonesty? It's not like he doesn't know the definition of the term, but the punishment didn't even make any sense. It's like it was all plotted by some 16-year-old brat who—

Of course! No need to even finish the thought. Obviously, it was 100% Sicheng's doing. Nothing at this school felt the same anymore. To be honest, Jungwoo had lost all of his respect on his teacher and the principal.

Turning his head towards Sicheng, Jungwoo stared right down into his eyes and crinkled his nose. "You bribed them, didn't you?"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Sicheng widens his teeth, as he turns his gaze towards the stuffed white envelope he had in his pocket. All it took was a couple of dollar bills to convince the adults and bend the system. Unfortunately for him, it just so happened Jungwoo was the target.
