Think About It

Stevie opened the door and sat in the passenger seat. She looked over at Lindsey and smiled as he kissed her softly and pulled her hand into his. "I'm so sorry Linds. I knew they were angry, but I didn't realize that they would act that way." Stevie said apologetically. Lindsey smiled at her, "Sweetheart, you have nothing to apologize for. They have every right to be angry with me, I'm angry with me. I know I don't deserve you, but I love you. They were wrong though. You aren't the second woman in my life. You're the only woman in my heart. Stevie, I know this is hard, but I promise I will never hurt you again. I'm going to make it right again." She looked at him eyes shining from tears she was holding in. "Lindsey, I love you so much." With a smile on his face and Stevie's hand in his they pulled out of her driveway. "What do you want to do today Stevie dear?" Lindsey asked. Stevie shook her head, "I'm not sure Linds, I just wanted to get away from the heaviness of the house, you know? Maybe we should go somewhere private. I can't hide that I'm pregnant and you're married. That wouldn't look very good for you." Lindsey felt terrible, Stevie had heard everything he knew, and he didn't want her to feel like the "other woman" but he doubted if words could change her mind. He would show her. "No way Stevie, we haven't done anything wrong. I don't care what anyone thinks anyway, but the way I look right now I doubt that anyone would recognize me." Well he was definitely right Stevie thought. He needed to shave and with his baseball cap on and sunglasses on Stevie doubted anyone would recognize him. "Ok Linds, what did you have in mind then?" she asked. Lindsey sat thoughtfully for a moment and then brightened, "Let's start getting things for the twins nursery. We should paint the room and get new furniture for it and definitely cribs." "Aww, Linds that's really sweet, but do you really think that we need to paint? I don't like for people to come into my home unless it's necessary, and I definitely am not wanting to bring someone in to paint a nursery." Lindsey looked at her, suprised, "Stevie, I'll do all that. I want to." he said. She nodded her head happy that he was taking such an interest. She leaned back in the seat, trying to get comfortable and surprisingly fell asleep.

Lindsey tapped Stevie gently as they arrived at the store he had been searching for. He knew that Stevie would only want the best, most fabulous things for her daughters. Their daughters, and he did too. He laughed to himself thinking about the kind of things that Stevie would dress their daughters in, he could definitely picture them in shawls. How could he not, after all, their mother is Stevie Nicks. "Stevie, baby we're here" he said as he gently kissed her forehead. She woke up with a smile on her face. "Oh, Linds I'm so sorry I feel asleep. I haven't been sleeping well lately." "It's ok baby, let's go get some things for our girls." He got out of the car and went to her door helping her out. He looked down at her, she looked so beautiful in her summer dress and was surprised at the height difference. He was always much taller than Stevie, but not this much taller. He looked down as she wore sandals with no heel. "No heel today shorty?" he laughed. She hit him playfully and said, "Oh hush you, I can't wear them right now, my balance is off." He smiled down at her and kissed her. Her lips were so soft, he could never get enough. When he kissed her it was like he was taken to a different world. He was oblivious to anything and everything else. He began to intensify the kiss. She allowed it for a bit before finally pulling away. "Linds, people are staring. Later" she promised. He took her hand in his and laced his fingers between hers. This felt right. Being with Stevie was always right for Lindsey. She was his soulmate in every sense of the word. He led her into the store, excited to be doing this with her. This was how it was supposed to be.

The week had gone by too quickly. They had gotten some work done on the nursery, but still had alot to go. Christopher, Lori, and Jessie were staying with Stevie's parents while Lindsey was there. Things had been strained and she knew they didn't approve when she led Lindsey to her bedroom with his suitcase that first night. She didn't care though, Lindsey completed her as well as comforted her and she wasn't going to hide in her own home. The check up on the twins had gone well and Lindsey was thrilled to get to hear those two strong heartbeats. Stevie was thrilled he was there with her. On his last night there he convinced Stevie to get into the pool. Stevie was really uncomfortable, Lindsey felt so bad for her. He didn't know how she was going to make it another couple of months, her stomach was so big. He supposed it looked larger due to her tiny frame but he still found her beautiful. Maybe even more beautiful than he ever had. She was tired, but she glowed and he loved to see her growing with his daughters. She felt so relaxed in the water. She hadn't felt this good in a while. She laid back as she watched Lindsey swim around the pool. He swam up to her and pulled her close to him. "I love you Stevie" he said before kissing her passionately. He took Stevie by surprise, but she was receptive. She parted her lips open slightly and he took as his invitation to proceed. He thought everytime he had been without Stevie for any amount of time that he could never want her more than he did, but he realized then that he would never get enough of her. Stevie was like an insatiable thirst. He would never get enough. He moved his lips down to her throat and she let out a moan. She wanted him, had wanted him for so long. She hadn't had him since he had gotten her pregnant and that had been too long for her. She ran her fingers through his curls and scratched at his back. She wanted this. Lindsey was torn. He wanted to consume every inch of her, but he didn't think he could wait that long. He quickly removed her swimsuit and entered her, holding her there in the pool. She screamed, this felt so good. They were so perfect together. Lindsey thrusted into her as she called his name out over and over loudly. He loved hearing it. The rhythm increased rapidly until finally he stopped and looked down into her adoring eyes. He could never get enough of her. He didn't want to.
