Things were getting hectic. They were finishing the last week of the mixing of the album and they would be done. Thinking back on the last few months Stevie was surprised she and Lindsey had made it out to the other side of the recording with their relationship intact. But they had done it and their love of one another had only grown stronger. They had a fantastic life and their daughters made everything perfect. Stevie couldn't believe they were a year old, walking around the house bringing joy and laughter to the large house that had once been so empty. When all four children were there it was truly a fantastic experience. Exhausting, but loving and happy. She enjoyed her role as a mother, unofficial step-mother(although that would change soon) and a partner to her true love. Stevie wasn't sure her life could get much better than it was now.

The love and happiness that exuded from Stevie was contagious. Lindsey, who had always been moody and brooding, even felt it's effects. How could anyone in her presence not be. It just simply couldn't be helped. It made the completion of the albums a little easier and the coming circuit seem not as daunting. Lindsey loved watching her plan their wedding. It was a month away and she was completely wrapped up in it. She would sit in their bed with all her books surrounding her, meticulously planning even the most minute details. It was neither of their first marriages, but in their own minds it was the only marriage that mattered. He sat down next to her and brushed her hair out of her face behind her ear. "How's the planning going baby?" he asked. "Oh, it's going good. I've really got everything almost finished. You will have to get fitted for a tux and I need to make a final decision on a dress. Then we have Will, Leelee, Scarlett, and Sara to dress. And of course we need to decide on the music. I just want it all to be perfect. This wedding is so important to me, so special, and so long awaited that I want to make it so memorable that we will never forget a second of it." she told him. "Baby it's going to be perfect. It doesn't matter what we're doing, it's our wedding, finally you're going to be my wife. We've waited so long. Don't stress over the small stuff, let's just enjoy it. I'll go get fitted for my tux tomorrow and we'll do shopping for Will and Lee when we have them this weekend. And I'll handle the music. I have a few ideas in mind." he said smiling. "Oh God, do I even want to know?" she laughed. "I'm not stressed, I'm enjoying this. It's really going to happen this time and I'm ready. My family is coming to town tomorrow, and I'll go dress shopping with Mom and Lori. They're excited to be a part of it too, and they've missed the girls. If we can get the clothing taken care of this week we will be done with all of the things on the to do list. Then we will have press for a couple of weeks and then we can focus on the wedding." she said excitedly. "We're definitely in for a busy month here." Lindsey replied. Stevie smiled seductively at him "I can keep you busy tonight." she said, her voice so sexy and husky. Lindsey pushed all her things off of the bed and kept her busy.

Stevie walked out of the dressing room with tears in her eyes. She never got emotional over something like a dress, but this was different. From the moment she stepped into it she knew that it was the one. This would be the dress that she wore when she finally became Lindsey's wife. Everyone in the room was stunned when Stevie walked out. The long white lace dress trailed behind her and fit her every curve perfectly. It was as if the dress had been made for her only. "Oh Stevie" was all that Lori could say. "This is it baby. This is the one. You look perfect." her mother told her, eyes shining with tears. When Sara and Scarlett were dressing and toddled over to their mother, the whole room was in tears. It was such a beautiful moment for not only Stevie, but everyone in her life. They had all seen Stevie go through intense highs and rock bottom lows. They watched her battle her demons trying to erase Lindsey from her life. She had finally saved herself and realized she couldn't do without Lindsey. She faced more hard times, but the birth of her daughters had changed everything. And now she would have Lindsey. Stevie looked at her daughter with such love and adoration. "Angels, you look so beautiful." she told them, voice heavy with emotion. "Mama pretty." Sara babbled and Scarlett began to repeat her. Stevie thought her heart would burst. "Thank you babies." she said before kissing them. It was one of those moments Stevie knew she would never forget.
