The Universe Explained.

ITS TIME FOR IMAGINATION.

I'm going to explain the universe for this story, so you'll understand more of the story and the geography of it.

I call the universe "Sol et Luna" which is latin for sun snd moon. For the God and Goddess of it. The Sol Deus, the Sun God, and Luna Dea, the Moon Goddess. The Luna Dea a.k.a "the Goddess" as Feiye uses in this book, looks after the immortal side of things such as the Werewolf's shifting, the prophets, mates, and stuff like that. The Sol Deus looks after the physical side of things such as strength, speed, and that kind of stuff. if you were slower than most, Sol Dues caused that. If you couldn't shift into your wolf, Luna Dea caused that.

There are four species that occupy Sol et Luna. The Werewolves, the Vampires, the Elves, the Dragons, and the Humans, who are not mentioned.

The Dragons and Elves.

Dragons don't have any kingdoms or queendoms or anything like that. They are found only in a certain mountain range close to the elves' region. They are intelligent creatures, and fight for the elves, if called on.

Meanwhile, the Elves have both a queendom and kingdom. The Queendom of Diana's Peak, and The Kingdom of Jonah's Valley. Both are named after the places their first leaders died. Diana died on the highest peak in the elfin region. Jonah died in Dragon's Valley, which houses the most powerful of dragons.

Every elf has a dragon counterpart. If the dragon dies, then the elf dies. Jonah died that way. His counterpart was named Hanoj. Every name is the other's backwards, so Feiye's counterpart would be Eyief.

There are four types of dragon. Fire dragons, Earth dragons, Water dragons, and Wind dragons.

There are four types of elf. Fire elves, Earth elves, Water elves, and Wind elves.

Every counterpart dragon and elf have opposite types. Fire-Water and Earth-Wind.

The Werewolves.

There are 6 packs. The strength of the pack depends on how close of descendants they were with the Luna Dea. I'll put them in a list from strongest to weakest.

1. The Lupus Sanguine Pack. (The Blood Wolf Pack)

2. The Sapientes Lupus Pack. (The Wise Wolf Pack)

3. The Lupus Celeritias Pack. (The Speed Wolf Pack)

4. The Lupus Magna Pack. (The Large Wolf Pack)

5. The Lupus Rapit Effera Pack. (The Frantic Wolf Pack)

6. The Lupus Perfide Pack. (The Rogue Wolf Pack)

I think these names are quite good, if I do say so myself. Except for number 4. That one's bad. I did that one last because I didn't know how to... well.... number 4. I'm done with Werewolves right now, that was so bad. I'll move on.

The Vampires.

There are two kingdoms, both of which I've mentioned. The Kingdom of Ordan and The Kingdom of the Fells.

Vampires have a long lifespan, just as the rest.

A long time ago, Vampires used the elves as slaves. They only used the dragons in their military, but never used the elves because most were too frail to use for their wars.

Both Kingdoms are at war because of a girl. After the elves rebelled and established their region, both unmarried crown princes fell in love with a single elf. Their names were Xavier of the Fells, and Adrian of Ordan. The girl was Anaid. But, she had used her dragon's name the whole time she'd been enslaved. So...

Diana!

She had been in love with one of them, though. She had been in love with Xavier. Not Adrian. She had run away with her love, and Adrian had found out. On Diana's peak, they had fled. Xavier had killed them both without ever finding out about Diana and Xavier had birthed a child. The girl you know as Alina.

Further down the line, Isabelle, Feiye's mother, fell in love with a vampire. The king of the Fells. Theodore's father, Gregory. A few months after she had given birth to both Feiye and Theodore, Gregory had become king and had to leave with his son. Nobody but Isabelle, Gregory and Theodore know about Feiye and Theodore's heritage.

So Feiye and Theodore are related. Brother and sister. But only one of them knows about it.
