Xander took hold of my hand, and dragged me down the hallway at a fast pace. Crowds started forming around us. The front doors of the packhouse got larger as we approached. He yanked open one of the doors and left it open as we ran further until we were a good distance into the woods. "You elves have dragons, right?" He put both hands on my shoulders and met my gaze. "Yes, we do." I answered, furrowing my brows. "Call for it."

I blinked. "We'll have to get further away. They'd be able to see her if I called for her now." He nodded and slung me over his shoulder. Before I could protest, he started running. He ran longer and faster than I would be able to on foot. It only took him about 30 minutes to get far enough away. Once he stopped, I didn't waste any time and called on Eyief. He sat me down once I did so. After a few seconds, her large figure swooped down and landed in the clearing, head lowered so she could look me straight in the face.

"Xander, do you know of any places?" I bit my lip, stroking my dragon's scales absentmindedly. "There's another continent north of here. They don't know about any of us supernaturals. Luna Dea didn't touch them. They're called humans. It should be fairly easy to blend in with them for a while, but your dragon would have to come back here after we're dropped off." He suggested, and I nodded. "Sounds good to me." I smiled to him then looked back at Eyief. She nodded as well and moved her wing so it was sloped. I walked up to it and over, getting settled between her shoulder blades. Xander followed shortly behind, wrapping his arms around my torso.

Eyief readied her wings before launching into the sky, careful of the packhouse. She flew close to the clouds, so she was a little bit concealed by them.  Any werewolf from below would just see a dark spot among the white.

I let myself relax, shoulders slumping. "I'm sorry that I dragged you into this." I looked back at the Alpha. He raised an eyebrow. "I chose to be dragged into it when I ran away with you, Feiye." He replied with a close-lipped smile. "I'm sure your whole pack probably thinks so as well." I said sarcastically. "They don't know their own alpha then." Xander chuckled. "I hope it's the same answer with my own people." I sighed before curling up and letting myself drift into a partially peaceful sleep.

My sleep was interrupted by someone slapping my cheek impatiently. I rubbed at my eyes before opening them. "We've arrived." Xander's voice said from behind me. I blinked rapidly, taking in my surroundings. Eyief had landed on a beach, and her wing was already sloped. After a few seconds, I got the hint and slid off. My legs quaked. Xander had followed me down and stopped me from falling. Looking back at my dragon, I smiled at her before she lifted off into the skies once again. "Let's get going. There should be a village close by." The Alpha gestured to the well-used path that led into the woods. I nodded and followed after him as we started down the path.

"Do you know anything else about these humans, like their culture?" I asked Xander, who walked beside me. "I know that they have a few kingdoms, all with different cultures and laws. I don't know many details, other than that." He replied. I worked out possible scenarios in my head as we walked. They could all be savages and kill us both. Or they could be fairly pleasant but could possibly single us out because of our supernatural attributes, such as my beauty and Xander's animal-like    way of moving, along with my pointed ears and canines and his shifting. They could worship some demon and sacrifice us both. I stopped that train of thought before I started being even more paranoid about this.

We reached the end of the pathway, and my jaw dropped.
