Song is "Saviors of the World" By Skillet (A song that I think is perfect for this chapter)
Photo is of Asteri, which is Greek for star.
By the way, this is the first chapter I'm doing on a computer, so expect terrible, terrible, MISTAKES.

I arrived in the stable, stumbling as I skidded to a stop before five stalls, one of them housing a dappled white gelding. It had elegant leather tack on it, completed by two saddlebags. I vaulted over the gate, reaching my hands out, careful not to spook it as I approached slowly. I stroked its muzzle appreciatively, and it huffed, as if gesturing me to get a move on. I mounted, and as soon as I did so, the doors to the stable burst open, both Theodore and Aidan at the front of a large group. The gelding broke through the gate, galloping through the stables, racing out the open barn doors. I pushed him faster, knowing that they would get their own mounts and come after me. Or they would just run with their inhuman speed. Almost as fast as a typical racing horse. I clung to the saddle and reins, pushing myself down so there wouldn't be as much wind resistance.
And that whole time, both Crown Princes Theodore and Aidan were working together. To capture me. To use me for their preposterous "prophecy."
I was only an elf. Insignificant compared to any vampire. They were weaker in every way possible. Elves just had their god-like beauty and dragons on their side. There was no revolutionary war between the elves and vampires. They just fled to Diana's peak and Jonah's Valley, built up their walls, and the vampires let them live.
I was just as pathetic as my ancestors.
Sobs racked my body. This is what I deserve. To be a slave for the all-mighty vampires. I wouldn't even last a day with them. I would be pale and lifeless by midnight. The gelding seemed to sense my distress and galloped faster, his strides long and even, no sign of fatigue or anything of the sort. I was grateful to him for caring. Even if he was a vampire's gelding.
A few moments later, dead leaves started cracking under my gelding's hooves. Low-hanging branches started scraping my legs and arms, one of them leaving a deep, long gash on my thigh.
Now I was done for.
Aidan's POV
Theodore's group rode a few yards away, traveling down a separate trail. I rode on a buck mare, which galloped just as fast as I could make it go, which was almost as fast as I could go on foot. But I would tire after a good 30 minutes of looking. I scanned the woody area----
The familiar scent of blood hit my nose. Royal elf blood. I barked for my group to follow. The scent was strong. Either Feiye had gotten hurt badly to have lost that much blood or that wasn't even hers. I tried to push my mare to go faster, and she complied.
I couldn't go any faster.
Feiye's POV
I cursed, but didn't touch the wound. I stroked the gelding's neck, soothing him. He looked back at me before speeding up, getting us out of the tree-thick area and into a clearing. I looked up, seeing stormy clouds drifting towards the clearing, the patch of sky turning grey. the rest was bright blue and clear of clouds. I ground my teeth. I wish I wouldn't have to do this. The gash on my leg was stinging from the raindrops sliding inside and wiping off the blood that had been coating my leg like a second skin.
I took a deep breath. I knew we were close to Jonah's Valley. "EYIEF! I CALL ON YOU, DRAGON OF THE FLAME!" I let out the cry, and a roar sounded, seeming to echo through the mountains. It was at that time at which Aidan and his group rode out of the right side of the forest and Theodore and his group emerged from the left. I sat tall, looking up at the skies.
This was the second time I ever called on Eyief. She was a fire dragon, while I was a water elf. Opposites, as every elf and dragon counterpart. A large, glimmering figure covered the clouds. It was forest green, the color of my eyes, while it's eyes were a grey, like my own hair. I slid off of the gelding, still looking up as she landed before me. "FEIYE!" Aidan and Theodore's voices called at my sides, one worried and the other a warning. Eyief's large head kept me from not falling, as I limped towards her wing, which was sloped so I could slide between her large shoulder blades. I started walking up it.
I heard two pairs of feet running towards me. In the split second before I was brought back to that castle, I transferred strength into my injured thigh before running up the rest of the wing and sliding in her shoulder blades, a comfortable place that I fit perfectly into. Elief gently wrapped her tail around the gelding, sensing my love for the creature.
The two princes stopped when they saw me atop the great dragon. "Don't come looking for me again. I am not a prize to be won. Good luck ending your war." I smiled wickedly before Elief took off, letting out a great roar as she rose into the stormy skies.

Elief flew towards Dragon's Valley, since she held a respected spot in the dragon community. As did I, since I was the Crown Princess. She landed in front of a castle, which housed the elf royalty of Jonah's Valley at this time.
I slid down Elief's sloped wing, my leg hurting more than ever. She let go of my gelding, which I've decided to call Asteri, and he galloped over to me, nuzzling my cheek affectionately. I hugged his neck before taking hold of his reins and looked to my dragon, sending a silent thank you. She didn't leave, though. She just nodded with her big head. I smiled to her before starting to lean on Asteri so I didn't hav eto put as much weight on my leg.
"Feiye! Get a healer, now!" A familiar voice yelled.
