I clenched my fists and stood. "I need answers. Now." I growled, running to Eyief and sliding between her shoulder blades. She lifted off a few seconds later, going full speed towards The Fells.
An hour later, we crossed the border, and the castle could be seen from there.
Two hours later, we crossed the wall that was around the castle grounds.
Eyief landed in the middle of a courtyard before the grand doors of the castle, sending noble vampires scurrying away. I slid off her back, and she huffed, smoke coming out of her nostrils. I smirked and strode towards the doors. Terrified, the two guards opened them. I walked inside while Eyief flew up and circled the castle. I strode down the hallway until I reached the throne room doors, which were bejeweled and elegantly made.
I threw open the doors, glaring at everyone there. There was a dais with three thrones, but only one was occupied. King Gregory of the Fells sat in it. Plenty of smaller seats were in rows flanking the throne. All of them were occupied by snobby-looking individuals. The King stopped talking and stared at me. "My twin is dead because of you, bastard." I growled, staring him straight in the eye. the same forest green as mine. He seemed to stop breathing. "YOU SENT HIM THERE, AND LED HIM STRAIGHT TO HIS DOOM!" I barked. He stood and walked to me, not getting too close. "How long have you known about this, Feiye?" He asked, avoiding my intense gaze. "Three hours ago." I ground my teeth. He flinched. "How." He could only seem to get the one word out.
"I didn't ask him that question." I lied. He seemed to believe me in his state of grief. "Come with me." He ordered, and I didn't bother disobey. He led me up a staircase, down a hall, up another staircase, then into a sitting room.
And immediately regretted it.
A blunt object bashed the side of my head, effectively knocking me out.

I awoke, my head pounding from a headache. I was tied up to a chair. "Finally, you're awake." A cruel voice cooed from a few yards away. My head snapped to the voice, my eyes landing on a large man, with a table of tools beside him. There was a stone brick wall around us, various torture machines against the walls. An iron door was opposite the machines.
I started to panic.
"Whats going on?! Where am I?!" I panicked. "I'm going to offer you something, that is what's going on, honey." He smirked. I clenched my jaw to try and calm myself. He walked over so he was in front of me. "You, my dear, are going to be thrown into the castle of Ordan and be our little spy. You bring their crown Prince somewhere private and we snatch him up, in exchange for your life." He crossed his arms. "What're you going to do with him?!" I barked, glaring up at him. "Kill him, of course." He said casually. I froze. "It's either your life or his."
"I'll do it." I mumbled, now noticing that I was only in a knee-length white gown and I was covered in cuts and bruises. "Good." The iron door banged open, I was untied and dragged out of the room, which happened to be a random stone cabin in the middle of the forest. The two guards that dragged me along were dirty with a mix of blood and dirt.
They dragged me to the castle of Ordan, where I could see Aidan walking around the castle grounds. As he rounded the corner the gates could be seen from, I was dumped just inside the castle walls. I tried to stand, but the stitches were ripped, and my wound was bleeding. The white fabric there was stained with blood. A few other cuts were bleeding as well. "Feiye?!" Aidan ran over to me, taking me under my arms and pulling me off the dirt. "Oh Deus." He held me bridal style and started running. I didn't get to see where, because my face was pressed up against his chest. This is who killed my brother, isn't it? The thought kept echoing in my head, until it was impossible to tune out.
I wouldn't know who, exactly, killed him. He likely died from blood loss. Not Aidan's sword. I tried to calm the thought.
He set me on a healer's table, and half of them started covering my calves and arms with gauze and bandages while one did the stitches for my thigh, and someone else was doing the gauze and bandaging my opposite thigh. The one doing the stitches finished last, putting a bandage around it. My eyes flickered to Aidan, as I sat up. "What happened?" He asked worriedly. "I don't know." I lied. He seemed to believe it.
"I'll go get you some food."

He returned a few minutes later with a small plate of fruit. I almost laughed, but I was too hungry. I started taking big bites off of an apple while he just grabbed some grapes for himself. I sent a glare in his direction. He chuckled at my attempt of being scary.
I adjusted my position so I was more comfortable and not tugging at the bandages. I kept eating the fruit, not bothering with conversation except for each time Aidan took a fruit from the plate. He just kept laughing each time I did it, which just made me angrier.
As I finished my last grape, I turned to him. "You're a terrible person." I scowled. He chuckled again. "I got the food for you, so I can have my share of it." He made a point. "You got the food for me, not yourself." I grumbled, and he started full-out laughing.
I studied my arms, and scowled again.
Now I know why he was laughing.
I looked like a mummy.
