{chapter 01}

[vanessa's pov]

"and scene! good job everyone! we're done with the rescue scene!"

finally, madelaine's lips tasted like salt and boogers

"sorry about how my lips probably tasted. it's from all that crying i did"

i laughed "your lucky we're best friends. if we weren't i don't know if i would be able to put up with it"

"good thing we are" she chuckled

I nodded my head. It was silent for a while as we walked to our trailers

"veggie grill later?" madelaine asked as i began to open the door 

"yeah sure, I'll stop by your place"

"okay" she said as she walked away

[madelaine's pov]

as soon as i stepped foot in my trailer i was ambushed by travis.

"hey baby!! he said, covering me in a crazy amount of kisses 

"hey babe!"

he stopped kissing me, and pulled my body close to his in a tight hug

"i thought you weren't going to be back until wednesday?!" i asked confused

what you really want to say is 'i thought i'd have more time alone'

"i finished all of my podcast episodes for this season early, so i decided to come and surprise you!"

"well consider me surprised"

he smiled and started walking around the room, grazing his hands on the wall.

"so how was the kiss scene with vanessa" he said, shuddering 

"it went as well as a kiss scene should go"

"but it wasn't just any kiss scene. you kissed your best friend, not a stranger"

"travis why does it matter? i'm an actress, im going to have to kiss people"

he rolled his eyes "yeah whatever"

"are you jealous?"

"no" he huffed, crossing his arms in front of his chest

i stared at him sternly, not believing his no for a second 

"okay, i'll admit, i'm jealous. i don't like that your kissing someone else. and a girl at that" he sighed, not meeting my eyes

"travy, im yours. vanessa is my bestfriend. you're my boyfriend"

"yeah, yeah. your right. i'm sorry baby"

i smiled sweetly at him "thank you"

he gave me a big grin back, and then grabbed my hands and began to caress them "you wanna go out later? we can go to veggie grill! i've missed their salmon salads!"

"i can't babe, i'm going with vanessa later"

"of course you are."

"what does that mean?"

"it means that you never spend time with me, it's always vanessa! sometimes it feels like she's in a relationship with us!"

"well sorry you've been gone for a week and i hung out with MY BEST FRIEND while you were gone! and she's not in this relationship with us. only 2 can tango travis"

"but you spend more time with her than you do with me! what about me madelaine! i want to be with you too!"

"and you are with me!"

"well it sure doesn't seem like it" 

i squeezed my temple, taking deep breaths to calm myself down

"how about you come with us then, hm?"

"i don't want to intrude on your 'date'"

"it's not a date travis. gosh, i kiss my friend once for a tv show and i can't hang out with her again"

"but that's what you don't get, mads. you haven't noticed how she looks at you? how her eyes linger down your body for longer than a 'bestfriend' should?"

"travis stop overreacting! do you want to come or not?"

"fine, whatever"

"okay then"

he faked a smile and then walked out the trailer, secretly fuming
