Brooklyn's POV

It had been about a week since I came to Newsies and I was taught my blockings which was a lot easier than the boys get. Basically my main character is Sniper, but I am also a Nun, the lady who buys a paper from Les and Bowery Beauty. If that wasn't hard work I was also taught the choreography to the numbers just in case one of the boys couldn't do a show. I didn't get it all down, but I was only taught just in case one of the boys called out. Chances were low that'd I'd have to the hard stuff. But, being a newsie is a lot harder than it looks, and today I make my debut, talk about nerve wracking. Ok yes, I've been on a stage before, but this is a Broadway show not something that's done in high school.

At the moment though Nick, I were at the park having a little down time before the show which in seven hours. So we had plenty of time on our hands, and we got some ice cream before coming to the park, something we used to do all the time, even when it was snowing we'd still get ice cream. I'm pretty sure our parents thought we were crazy, but I didn't really care since I'm already crazy, eating ice cream when it's snowing is just a plus.

"You exited Brook?" Nick asked as we walking. The sun was shinning brightly, there were a few fluffy clouds in the sky, and a nice warm breze here and there. It was probably the most perfect day ever. And the park is just beauitful. I've only ever been in the east coast, I know, not very much, but it is to a little kid. Now look, years later I get to tour the USA.

"If I'm being honest, I'm more nervous than excited," I added while playing with the tips of my hair. Something I do when I'm very nervous. I'm about to go on my very first Broadway stage. This is not gymnastics, or a dance recital, or a silly school play, this is the real deal.

"Once you get out on stage you'll be fine."

"Guess so," I replied as I took a another lick at my maple walnut in a waffle cone. While that was happening I didn't notice Nick snap a picture and post it to Instagram. At Least not until my phone buzzed. I fished into my back pocket to see the little notification that read '@ _nickmasson_ as tagged you in a photo'. Without even looking up at him I slid it opened with my thumb and saw the picture he took.

It was actually kind of cute. Luckily he didn't catch my tongue licking it. I was standing there looking down with a small smile. Then I noticed the comment he put that read, "Only seven more hours till @Brooklyn_Masson makes her Broadway debut here at #Newsiesontour. Can't wait to see how she does as our newest girlsie. Break a leg little sis 😘"

Before I could say anything two kids who look like about thirteen walk up and the girl said, "Sorry to bother you two, but we were wondering if we could get a picture with Nick."

"Yeah," the boy added. "We're really big fans, and we're seeing the show tonight."

"Sure thing," Nick said. "What're your names?"

"I'm Logan, and this is Ally."

"Twins?" Nick asked and they both nodded.

"Cool. This is my twin, Brooklyn." Nick slug an arm around me and I smiled.

"You can call me Brook," I said. "Want me to take the picture?"

"That'd be great, Ally said before handing me her phone. Logan did the same. I stand a few feet away and Nick is on one knee with Logan and Alley on either side.

I snapped the pictures on both phones before handing it back to them. Then Logan asked, "Are you in the show too?"

"Umm yeah, tonight's gonna be my first show actually," I said shyly.

"Cool," they both said.

"Can we get a picture with you too?" Alley asked.

"Sure," I replied. I didn't even do the show yet and I've already encountered two fansies. Logan and Alley handed their phones to Nick and I kneeled down on the ground with them on either side of me. After that was done Nick handed the phones back to them.

"No problem. We hope you enjoy the show," Nick said.

"We will." after that they left.

"They were cute," I said.

"Yeah. Wait in till you stage door," Nick said. Then he turned to me and said, "It's been nice knowing you."

"Is it really that bad?" I asked, a little scared for my life. I know fansies are crazy, but just how crazy can they be?

"Like I said, it's been nice knowing you."

And for the first time ever, I was scared for my life.
