Watch What Happens

Brooklyn's POV

After getting up, brushing my teeth, and washing my face, then I put my hair (or should I say extensions) in a messy bun. I grabbed my leggings, and put my shorts over it. I know it's an old style, but I still love it. Anyways, I threw on my Newsies on tour short sleeve shirt and then my favorite light blue sweater. After making sure I have everything I leave the hotel room. I checked out and headed over to the couch area where most of the cast was.

"About time you got here," Nick said.

"Shut up," I grumbled. "It's too early to put up with you." I plopped down next to Sky and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Is it too early to put up with me?" Sky asked.

"No dumb questions, I wanna sleep," I replied.

"Ok then, it looks like you don't want this ham and cheese sandwich," he said. "Oh well, more for me."

"Not so fast," I said grabbing it out of his hand then kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks Skybell."

"No problem Fun Sized ," he replied before kissing me on the top of my head and wrapped his arm around me.

"Skylar, Brooklyn, it's way too early to put up with your mushy-ness right now," Josh said tiredly. "So, if you could turn it down a few cranks, that'll be nice."

"Did someone not get your morning bacon?" I asked. While everyone else needed coffee to get up and running, Josh has bacon.

"The hotel cut him off," Chaz laughed.

"Alright Newsies, everyone on the bus," Jeff C said. We all got our things before heading to the bus. Jeff C did a head count and then asked, "Where's Zachary?"

"Oh no, did he get left behind again?" Ben joked.

"You get left behind at a rest stop one freaking time and your blamed for life" Zachary said as he entered the bus.

"Did you need to refill your water bottle again?" Chaz asked making the whole bus laugh as well. After that I don't remember much because I fell asleep after I finished eating.

"I have to what?!" I yelled so loud that Tokyo could hear me.

"It means that you're  going on for-"

"I know what it means!" I snapped. No, just no. This can not be happening. There is no way I'm going on tonight. Just no, a million times NO!

"Brooklyn, Stephine left yesterday, and Morgan doesn't get here till the day after tomorrow, which leaves you now," Jeff C explained.

"But, if I go on for Steph then who's playing my part? Nick?" I laughed. "Are we gonna pull another twin switch."

"Melissa," Jeff C, said seriously before walking off.

"What's with all the yelling?" Sky asked as he walked into my dressing room. Oh no, I forgot that I had to break the news to him that I'm going to be kissing Dan. Actually, the right way to put this is, I'm going to kiss Dan three times on stage. Plus the....kill me now.

"Long story short I'm going on for Steph tonight," I said shyly. Ok Brooklyn, just keep it simple and then drop the bomb.

"That's amazing!" Sky exclaimed.

"You do know that means I'm going be kissing Dan....three times, right?" I asked shyly. Sky's eyes widened and I'm pretty sure I broke him because he didn't say anything. It was kinda scary.  "Sky, say something, please."

"Brook, you're not kissing Dan, Katherine's kissing Jack," he finally said.

"But who are the one's playing Jack and Katherine? Dan and Brooklyn, that's who," I replied before flopping on the couch.

"Ok, I'm going to be honest with you I'm not really happy that you're kissing another guy, but look on the bright side, you're making your debut as Katherine. And, if you think about it, you've made your debut three times, Sniper, Mush, and now Katherine." I know Sky was trying to cheer me up, but I could tell that he wasn't happy about this.

I wasn't happy about this and I could also tell that Nick wasn't to happy about this either. As well as everyone else in the cast. Heck, I think even Dan felt a little awkward with this.

"Hey, relax, at least your first kiss isn't for a show," Dan said trying to make me feel better.

"I guess." I shrugged. at the moment we were rehearsing the show and at the moment I was in the "rooftop" with Dan.

"Ok, let's take it from the top." We did the scene and well...

"Oh, and if I was a boy you'd be looking at me through one swollen eye!" wow, I didn't think it would be weird to say that. But it's not Brooklyn, it's Katherine.

"Oh yeah? Give me your best shot!" my heart was pounding out of my chest, time seemed to slow down and stop. I quickly glance down at Sky, who only nodded. I then took a deep breath and well...grabbed the back of Dan's head and kissed him, before pulling apart.

Not gonna lie I broke character because I wasn't sure how I felt. My cheeks started to turn red as a tomato, so I covered them with my hand and rested my elbows on the railing. Dan slung his arm around me and whispered in my ear, "Sky's a lucky guy."

My cheeks only became redder and I elbowed Dan in the side. "Why do you have such sharp elbows?" he asked. I only shrugged. I got asked that a lot since I'm the only one in my family who has sharp  elbows.

I did the final bow and I could finally breathe easy. The show had gone off without a hitch and I was so happy nothing went wrong.

"Great job Brooky!" Nick said loud enough so only I could hear. The band was playing and the cast was doing who knows what before leaving the stage.

"Thanks Nicky," I replied before hugging him. I then felt a tap on my shoulder; when I turned around I saw, "SKY!" let's just say that I almost set him into the orchestra pit. The next thing I know is that Sky picked me up on his shoulder and carried me off stage.

"Really?" I asked.

"Stop complaining and just enjoy the view."

"The only view I have is your butt," I grumbled. "And you better now fart because you'll be my next punching bag."

"Such a violent child you are." he laughed. I rolled my eyes just as an idea popped into my head. Boy, am I glad I took gymnastics. Quickly thinking I put my hands on Sky's hips and I may or may not have used him as a brace to flip off and land perfectly.

"How did you do that?" he asked in shock.

"Let's see, I'm small, I took gymnastics, and I don't wanna know where you were taking me," I explained. "Well, it's been nice talking to you, but this wig is itch, so, buh, bye."

The next day

Sky's POV

after getting ready for the day I cheeked my phone and saw I got a text. I thought it would be from Brook or one of the guys. but there was no name. Without thinking too much about it I opened it up and the text read, "Hiii Baby Bell, just so you know I'm coming to the show. Can't wait to see my man do his thing! XXXXX- T

O-M-G, this could not be happening.
