Sky's POV
Brook was finally coming back on the tour. I was so anxious to see her. Nick said that she's doing a lot better and I guess that's good. But he also said that she's changed. That's why I was anxious. I wasn't sure what "she's changed" means.
"Hey, don't stress. I'm sure the only change Brook did was get a hair cut," Ben said, trying to make me relax. But in all truths it only made me more anxious. I hadn't seen, or talked to Brook since she gave me back the necklace I gave her back.
Every since then I've kept it in my pocket for who knows why. I just do. Heck, even during a show I keep it in my pocket as it will somehow make me feel like she's right on stage with me. But it's not enough. I just want her back.
Just then Nick walked in with a girl I didn't recognize. She had dark hair with blue streaks, and was wearing black convers, ripped denim shorts, a black crop top, and a red flannel. When she came closer I noticed she was wearing a start and moon necklace, some rings on her right hand and a feather tattoo on her left forearm. Only when she came somewhat closer I saw that it was "Brooklyn?" I asked making her turning around.
"Sky," she said coldly before walking off.
"What the heck happened?" Ben says under her breath.
"Break up phase," Nick sighed. Ben and I both gave Nick a very, very, very weird look. What the hell does that mean?!
"The Masson woman are known for going on a phase during their first break up. My Grandma, Aunts, Cousins, and Kate all went through it. So, it was only a matter of time before it happened to Brook. Oh, it's not only the look, but thy acted differently too. But don't worry, it's temporary. How long it'll last I have no idea," Nick explained before sighing again. "Honestly I'm not surprised she dyed her hair black with blue streaks."
"I am!" I said loudly. WHY IN THE FREAKING HECK DID BROOK DYE HER HAIR FOR!? IT WAS ALREDY PERFECT THE WAY IT WAS. Wait...she's going through a break up phase? I didn't want to believe that we broke up, and I still don't want to believe it. I could still try and talk some sense into her, Right. I only sighed and walked up to Brook and pulled her to a privet corner.
"A simple "Can I talk to you" would've worked," she said while pulling away from me and crossed her arms.
But I grabbed her left arm and asked, "Why did you get a tattoo?" Now, the Brook I knew would NEVER in a million years get a tattoo.
"It's a henna you idiot," she snapped while pulling away. Ok, knowing it's a henna makes my feel better...ish. Actually, that doesn't make me feel better. On the bright side she's calling me an "idiot", something she called me on a daily base. But I'm pretty sure she really means it this time.
But still, I didn't want to believe that this was happening. It has to be a bad dream right? please let this be a dream.
"What about the hair, and the look?" That's when I noticed she was wearing a touch more mascara and eyeliner than usual. She was also wearing nude pink lipstick instead of her light pink lipstick and touch of gloss. And, it wasn't only that, but instead of smelling like vanilla she smelled like lavender.
"I'm trying something different," she snapped back. "And if you don't like it then too bad!" she then walked off leaving me in that little corner.
This "new" Brooklyn was nothing like the one I met back at the opening night after party.
Which got me thinking.....
What happened to the Brooklyn I fell in love with?
