Brooklyn's POV
Well, long story short, it's been five weeks since I said "Goodbye" to Sky, who moved on (or more like back) to Tiffany. Chase and I were well...we never went out as a couple since the tour left his city the day after I broke up with Sky. I had gone out on a few dates with different guys. But nothing felt right.
I stopped dying my hair black, but I kept the blue streaks, only the blue is a pastel. Oh and my hair finally grew back to the point I can stop wearing extensions and my henna had faded away. Anyways, right now we're in Chicago, and it's the beginning of November and well...there's not that much to tell.
Sky and I are well...we don't really talk anymore and only see each other during anything that has to do with the show. But, even then we barely talk. Maybe a simple "Hey" if we're lucky before going about our day. One time we did bump into each other while practicing King of New York. But that's about it.
I'm in the elevator and somebody runs in before the doors close. And Low and behold it had the to the one person I don't want to see anymore.
"Oh, um...hey Brook," Sky said awkwardly.
"Hey," I replied quietly. I glanced at him before looking away. This was going to be a long ride.
"Chaz told me you went out with a guy named Carson last night, how did that go?" he asked.
"Badly," I replied before it went quiet.
"So...you changed your hair," he said trying to make small talk. I seriously hate small talk. But I don't think he knows that.
"Yeah," I said sweetly. "About two and half weeks ago. Thanks for noticing. Not," I spat.
"Actually I noticed it the day you changed it," he said shyly. "It's better than the black and blue."
"What're you trying to say?" I asked while facing him with my arms crossed. "That it looks worse? Because your hair isn't much better ya know. Ever thought about a haircut?"
"Just saying it looks nice," he finished.
"Oh," I breathed. "Um....Thanks. But really, get a haircut." I then looked away since even though I've told myself to move on, but being in this tiny elevator with him made me remember all the good times we had.
And maybe, just maybe, I still had some feelings for him. There's just something about this guy that makes me feeling like everything is right.
Brooklyn, he has a girlfriend and you're just another name on his long list of girls he's dated. He probably doesn't even remember all the times you've had together, or that he was everything to you and after what happened you were broken in a million tiny pieces.
Just then the elevator stopped and well..."N-n-n-n-no, this can not be happening," I said in a worried tone. Sky tried pressing a few buttons before giving me a look. "Not again." I then started to bang the door while saying, "Out of all the lousy times to get stuck in a stupid elevator."
"No signal," Sky said. Great, that means we can't call for help and I'm stuck in a stupid elevator with my stupid ex-boyfriend, with my stupid feelings for him. Talk about stupid timing. Out of everyone in this hotel it just had to get stuck in a elevator with it had to be Sky. Sky, as in my ex-boyfriend that I might still have feelings for. I kept on banging the door to open. Why I did this I had no idea. Maybe it was just old anger that needed to be let out.
"Brooklyn clam down," Sky said as he pulled me away from the door. I tried to get out of his grip, but the more I tried the more he tightened his grip. "Hey, stop fighting me and just relax."
