"The blossom opened up! She's a Winter!" Tamani shouted from the doorway.
"Oh my gosh!" Laurel squealed.
"And there's more good news! She decided to stay with us!"
"Eeek! I'm going to be a mom!!!" Laurel said.
"Her name is Ella, and they are bringing her to us right now."
The sentries came with the little seeding. She was tiny and looked up at her parents with wide eyes.
"She's so precious." Laurel said.
"She looks just like her moma when she was a seedling." Tamani said to Laurel.
"Hello! I'm Ella!" Ella said enthusiastically. Laurel looked up at Tamani and smiled. This was the best life she could have imagined, and she knew, looking back, she had made the right choice.
