A/N I'm going to switch up the story and not do it from third person, but from first person (diff POV) I might do it like this for the rest of Entwined idk
Tamani's POV
I ran to Laurel immediately after reading the note.
"We have to go. Now."
"Why?" She asks, panic evident in her voice.
"Trust me." I say as I lead her to the road.
I want to get out of here before... Oh too late.
I look down the road, seeing a group of trolls.
There's maybe four or five, but no time to count now.
They run up to us, and I meet them halfway. I instruct Laurel to hide while I try to fight. Try.
The one troll comes up to me and I weave under his punch, sweep his legs, and leave him scrambling on the floor. I quickly draw my knife that I always keep handy.
Knife in hand, I duck under another punch, and while his chest is exposed, I slit his throat.
No time to be nice and give it a nicer death.
The troll drops to the floor, but is jumped over by a bigger and dumber troll.
I lay up against the ground as the troll overshoots, planning on tackling me.
He thuds to the floor and while he's down, I stab his back.
My knife is covered in troll blood by now, as I kill the fourth troll.
All the trolls gone, I look around to find where Laurel is.
Down the road, I faintly hear a shriek.
Laurel!
