His big eyes look at me hopeful. I'm speechless. I have to answer him. I know that. No words come out. I feel like we've been standing there for ages. There's no way this is actually happening. No guy that perfect actually wants to marry me. Right?

My cheeks already hurt from the smile that rests upon them. I feel tear of joy roll down my cheek.

"Yes!" I say. He slips the ring onto my finger. It's quite large. I stare not at the ring, but at the man gave it to me. People clap, we are in the middle of a restaurant. I press my lips to his. He pulls back quickly.

"Wait. You actually said yes?" He says.
"I did! Did you actually propose?" I say.
"I did!" He says with a laugh.

"You made me think you were breaking up with me for a while there," I say. He laughs.
"Sorry about that." He says.

We sit back down. I stare at his face. He looks at mine. The waiter brings us a pizza. The olives are arranged to say "congrats!" I laugh. Fitz smirks.

"So, I'm going to Alabama, aren't I?" I say after a few bites of pizza.
"As my very hot fiancé." He says.
"Ooo! Fiancé, that sounds cool," I say.

We get back and Fitz calls his mom. I call Courtney, who happens to be with Devin.

"Hello?"
"He proposed." I say.
"What?" Devin says.
"For real, in the middle of Wesley's."
"Damn. You said yes, right?" Courtney says.
"Hell yeah."
"What does the ring look like?" Devin asks.
"It's huge, I'm scared to ask how much it costed," I say.
"Send me a picture." Devin says.
"Yeah."
"Holy shit. That's not a rock, that's a damn boulder." She says.

Fitz ran next door and told all his buddies. It was cute. I walk outside to where they've congregated.

"I have to call my mom," Says one of the boys.
"Aw shit, mine needs to know too." Says another.
"He can just post it on FaceBook, we can all comments and our moms will see it," Says the third.

"Well we need to take a picture," Fitz say.
     "Okay." I say.

I walk to Fitz and we stand in front of a wall. I put my left hand on his chest, showing off the ring, which is hard to miss. Fitz wraps his arm around my back. I smiles genuinely, I haven't stopped smiling since it happened.

I post the picture on my Instagram, who is followed by Caldwell students/staff, a couple people from my hometown and all of my college friends. I was most excited to find out what all my college buddies thought.

After 10 minutes, I already have 34 comments. Most of them said "congrats" and a few remarked on the size of the ring, but two really made me happy. The first, from Ms. Tomlinson made me tear up.

Girlie! I could sense the love between the two of you even when I hadn't gotten to know him yet. You will make an amazing wife, and I know you two will be a couple that lasts. I'm so happy that he's brought you the most happiness I've ever seen in you. I've known you for a long time, so I can say with certainty that you have found the perfect man for you. Congrats!

And the other from Sally, which made me laugh.

Mr. Kennedy! That is one hell of a diamond. Damn. How could you not tell me? C'mon man, I thought we were friends. Ms. Thorne! He is so hot, like so hot. And rich. What'd you do to get him? Damn. You better invite me to the wedding. I'll crash it if you don't. Oh yeah, congrats! Love, your favorite student, Sally.

    It was sweet.

"We're getting married!" I squeal. I jump into his arms and kiss him. With my legs around his hips he walks into the bedroom.

He pulls off his shirt. I've never wanted to do this so much. His hands are warm, his kisses passionate and his touch soft. His hands run along the sides of my torso. After he takes off my pants, I look into his eyes.

"Your the love of my life," He whispers.
    "I love you," I say.

The next morning I walk into Ms. Tomlinson's room. She gives me a big hug.

"Let me see," She says and looks at the ring. "It's huge." She adds.
"I know." I giggle. I tell her about the way he proposed.

As soon as Courtney gets to school, she walks into my room.

"Oh my god, congrats!!!" She exclaims.
"Thank you! I was so surprised. The way he said everything before he got down on his knee, I completely thought he was going to break up with me. I had no clue," I say.
"I was going to say I was surprised, but he told me months ago," She says.
"What?" I ask.
"Well, remember when his mother was in town?" She asks.
"Yeah?"
"Well, she gave him the ring then. It was her engagement ring. A week or so later, he asked me on diamond opinions. He got a new diamond put in the ring itself was his mother's." She says.
"Oh my god, you picked one this big?" I ask.
"Yeah. The holder was huge and anything smaller looked ridiculous." She says.
"Oh." I say.

"So, we haven't talked about the wedding, at all, but I was hoping, you'd be my maid of honor." I say.
"I'd love to be!!" She squeals.
"Thank you."

My first class begins and immediately, a couple people walk up to me. The first was Mabry.

     "Oh my god, congrats!"
"You are actually marring the Mr. Kennedy?"
     "Yeah."
"Can I post the picture you put on your Instagram on Mr. Kennedy's page?"
    "Sure." I say.

I check the page after class. Most of the comments are about me.

Luckiest woman in the world. True.

Hottest guy ever. Also true.

Where do I get me one of those? Alabama.

She must be really good in bed. Doubt it.

Oh my good look how happy she is.

Can I borrow him? Just for a bit. Nope.

I smile and read though the comments until my next class comes in.

I teach my lesson, but the only questions I got was about my proposal. Mr. Molton walks in my room.

"I need to speak to you, and uh, your fiancé, after your class is over," He says.
"May I ask why?"
"It's best to discuss that after your students leave," He says.
"Okay," I say and he leaves.
