Waverly poured water into a glass cup, but dropped the dispenser when she started to put it back in the fridge.

"Gah!" Waverly groaned at the annoyance of being soaked in ice water (both on her and the floor.) With an audible sigh, she bent down on the ground, prepared to clean up the puddle with a long abandoned dish rag that hung haphazardly on the stove (perhaps not the best place to keep a cleaning item).

Nicole was curious on what that loud bang was, so she rushed into the kitchen, "Waves?" Nicole said, watching Waverly clean up water all over the floor. Nicole felt bad for Waverly because she did recently get out of the hospital. She must of been so sore.

Waverly looked at Nicole, "Yeah?" Waverly questioned but couldn't help but marvel at Nicole's appearance in the light.

"Let me take care of this - You don't need to do it."

"No, it's fine."

"Waverly, go change," Nicole ordered while she held out a hand to help Waverly up.

Not wanting to press the argument anymore, Waverly let Nicole help her up.  As she got to her feet, she realized how close she was to the other girl. Had her eyes always been so brown?  Had her skin and lips always looked so soft?

Waverly quickly snapped out of her trance and excused herself to her room. Opening her dresser, and pulled out a old Shorties t-shirt and held it in front of her, imagining what she'd look like in it. The bad memories of her kidnapping popped up, and she shook her head as if she was willing the thoughts away. Waverly quickly put the shirt back in the dresser and instead pulled out a white crop-top, bomber jacket with a floral print on it, and high waisted jeans, and Doc Martins.

Once Waverly was done changing she headed back downstairs. Nicole was sitting on the couch with two glasses of water on the coffee table right in front of her.

"Thank you, Nicole." Waverly murmured softly, going to sit down next to her.

"It was no problem". Nicole smiled, silently noting how cute Waverly's outfits always were.

After a few seconds of silence Waverly decided so say something, "..I don't know a lot about you."

"What would you like to know Miss Earp?"

"Uhh.. Well, where are you from?" Waverly said, a bit awkwardly.

"A small town called North Wood in Maine, there are a ton of beaches and trees."

"I've never been to the beach." Waverly murmured while she laughed at the face Nicole made.

"That's crazy!" Nicole laughed. "I think you would like the beach." Nicole said while she scooted a little closer to Waverly.

"How come you moved to Purgatory?" Waverly questioned, trying to keep the conversation flowing.

Nicole instantly tensed up and Waverly didn't miss it, "I..uhh.. well.." Nicole stuttered.

Waverly put her hand on Nicole's shoulder, "You.. ah, don't have to tell me.. not if you don't want to."

"No, no it's about time I told someone beside my cat." Nicole chuckled to herself and took in a deep breath, as if she was mentally preparing herself for her next words.

"..My mom kicked me out of the house when I was younger for being gay. I moved around town for a couple years but never had enough money. I'm not really sure what lead me to Purgatory. But here I am."

"Nicole... I'm so sorry." Waverly sympathized. She never realized Nicole's past was this harsh. All she wanted to do was hug Nicole and make her feel better.
