It's been three years and Waverly Earp is still missing. FBI, police, and her older sister Wynonna spent everyday looking for her, but no luck.
Nicole Haught, the new police, hears about this and begs the Purgatory Town sheriff Nedley for the respo...
As Waverly and Nicole walked onto the porch of the house they could hear some frantic scrambling and muffled mumbling coming from inside the house. Waverly peered curiously at the red-haired girl, who looked rather flustered, probably from the cold.
Nicole quickly gave Waverly an innocent smile tucking a lock of red hair behind her ear. Waverly returned the smile and carried on walking, feeling a bit puzzled.
Wynonna opened the door before Waverly could.
"Hi Wynonna?" Waverly said with confusion.
"What you're not happy to see me baby-girl?" Wynonna squeezed her arms tight around Waverly's small body.
"Oh sorry," Wynonna pulled apart to be faced with Nicole.
"Oh hey, ginger snap." Wynonna was about to give her a hug but just stuck to a simple handshake.
"Good to see you." Nicole said fondly shaking Wynonna's hand back.
Once they were done greeting each other, Nicole broke the silence. "So what's going on?" She asked curious on what the frantic noice was and also feeling protective over Waverly.
They all were still standing by the doorway when Wynonna said "Oh.. Yeah, follow me, we have a lot to explain to you guys." Wynonna walked into the dining room, followed by Nicole and Waverly. There where three police officers and Doc, Nedley, Dolls, and Jeremy.
Waverly and Nicole placed there bags down by the cream painted walls of the dining room. The two girls quickly took a seat in two open chairs at the table. It was very silent in the room, which made their blood as cold as the autumnal air that crept through an open window. What could be the problem? Waverly thought. It's like one problem after another.
One of the policed officers smacked a picture on the table making Jeremy flinch.

Waverly looked at Wynonna still confused on who this could be. "Who is that?" Waverly asked looking at Wynonna. She looked at Nicole, little did everyone know they were holding hands under the table.
"That Waverly, that is our mama, Michele Gibson," Wynonna sighed, the look on her face was obvious on how much she resented her mother.
"I thought you said I was adopted," Waverly looked perplexed, it's weird, it's like the more she mulled it over, the more her brain becomes a spinning top, always finding more questions. The weird part is there's a familiarity to Michele, she just can't shake, not a memory per sé, but echoes that call to her intuition.
