Nicole looked up at the clock. 6:25.P.M Darn, she thought. She had been out for a long time. The ginger threw on an oversized university hoodie, and staggered out of Waverly's room. Nicole's head was pounding so she made sure to carefully walk down the wooden stair case so she wouldn't fall.Walking closer to the dining room Nicole heard mumbling.
"I can't believe your shnooping deputy dipshit." Wynonna took a bite of a cookie she had on a plate in front of her.
"Well she's brave, and loyal, and really great in... Well she's great, and she likes me when I'm none of those things," Waverly responded stealing one of Wynonna's cookies. Once Waverly finished chewing she continued, "Have you ever met someone and knew instantly in your heart that they mean something too you?"
Wynonna nodded her head "Well, I'm just glad you finally picked a smart one."
This made both of the Earp sisters laugh.
Nicole walked into the dining room, knowing that that was her queue.
"Hey love!" Waverly greeted watching her girlfriend sit in a chair right next to her. For some reason Waverly felt that something was off. Even on how hard she tried, she just couldn't shake off that feeling.
"Hi shorty." Nicole's headache was slowly going away, which she was thankful for. Waverly slithered a hand around Nicole's neck making Nicole have goose bumps from the touch.
"What? I don't get a nickname?" Wynonna crossed her arms.
This made Nicole and Waverly both give an annoyed look at Wynonna.
"Fine.. fine.. I didn't need one anyway," The heir said, with a long drawn out sigh. "What did you wanna talk about Waves?"
Suddenly the doorbell rang. Even the doorbell had a weirdness to it, as if it had rung one time too many. It started in an understated way and disappeared as soon as the finger was lifted.
"Did you invite Doc, or Jeremy?" Nicole asked, trying to figure out who could be at the door.
"Yeah, but their not supposed to come till later, maybe they came early." Wynonna responded.
"I'll get it." Waverly said, after the doorbell rang for the sixth time. Waverly jumped up from her seat and strode off to the door. She could hear Nicole and Wynonna arguing about something stupid as she left the dining room.
The brunette opened the door to find a sweet looking women, with dark brown hair tide up into a tight bun.
"Hi?" Waverly said curiously, holding the door open with her hand.
"Hello, I'm Jolene, your new neighbor. Do you want some freshly baked cupcakes?" The women asked holding out a basket of cupcakes with different colored frosting.

"Do you think I should tell them about Mama?" Waverly asked, "Because I know she's a problem." Waverly stood next to a wall in the kitchen of the Homestead.
"Baby, soggy crust is a problem, your mom is a catastrophe," Jolene said adding blue frosting on a perfectly baked cupcake. "Maybe you should wait a little bit, until you tell them. You need to find the right timing." Jolene walked closer to Waverly with the now finished cupcake.
Waverly nodded her head. "Aw for me?" The girl asked receiving a cupcake from Jolene.
"I'd do anything for you, all you have to do is tell me everything." Jolene watched as Waverly took a big bite out of the cupcake.
