Chapter 8: Prince of two cards

"What the what?!... uhh... um... d-don't worry I won't hurt you guys, it's just" Finn paused trying to register everything that was going on and then asked
"Who are you two?"
The two individuals came out from the bush
"Are you the knight of peace?" The elf asked
"The knight of who?" Finn questioned
"We must of been frozen for too long" the cat muttered
"Frozen? Can you two just explain yourself what is going on?" Finn asked
The two individuals looked around and signaled Finn to follow them.
"Please follow us" the Elf said
"It's not safe to talk in the open" the cat said
Both the elf and cat went deep in the forest
"Ugh! Why do I always end up being in the weirdest adventures" Finn muttered as he started going through the forest catching up with the two individuals

In a dark Shadow place with dark smoke and black clouds as if it was ready to rain. Everything was red and black, this was where the dark side of m/n ruled it's own world, where the shadow got m/n's body.
"It's been quite a while" m/n said as his red eyes flickered from its pretty e/c to red
"Trying to get out?"
M/n went to the mirror and smirked
"Show me the original owner of the body"
The mirror slowly faded from the reflection of m/n in a pure version of him appeared.
The pure version had his wedding outfit on and his golden crown instead of black
"We meet again m/n"
The dark version said
"What is going on? Why are you doing this?!"
Asked the pure one to the dark one
"You see m/n after you took everything from me, everything I owned... you are the one who became the monster, I am just taking what was rightfully mine"
"What do you mean?"
"I erased your memories tsk of course you won't remember" the dark one said as he continued
"Look, you were the one who took my bride and the one who took my throne. You are the reason why I became like this... EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT UNTIL YOU CAME!" Yelled the dark one
"I... but.. the dreams they-"
"Dreams? Oh so let me give you my memories" the dark one yelled as he punched his hand through the mirror transporting a shadow like smoke to m/n head

A man with handsome Gray/silverish hair was in his throne with a lovely girl on another throne
"I am proud to soon call you my wife and queen" the man said with his soft soothing voice
"Of course" the girl smiled as her white snow flowing hair was down and her blue bright gown showing off to everyone

Another flash and there was the same man with his silver like hair and his green half blue colored eyes shining with purity and his smile was adorable that anyone would want to be the lucky girl to marry him. A perfect prince that ruled over his kingdom. He was the prince of beauty and known for being the prince of spades he was loved by everyone.
Sadly one night the prince was attacked by a man after the speech of his marriage. The man was m/n with a brown cloak. His sword was sharp and attacked the prince which he successful did it. The prince turned to dust and m/n left with the snow princess and with a silent kill.
The black dust slowly became smoke and so a shadow was turned, it was the prince but he was no longer that beautiful human everyone knew, he was a shadow that everyone would end up fearing.
During the day of the wedding of the snow princess and m/n the shadow appeared seeing what would of been his be turned to a threat In his eyes, he attacked the wedding

"I never... i don't remember I did th-"
M/n was cut off
"You destroyed everything I loved" the dark one growled
"That's why I will end this world of Ooo and create a better version where you don't exist, you will just end up being the main target of their hunting game" the dark one smirked as he walked away from the mirror making the pure one disappear
"ɱყ Ɩơཞɖ ı ცཞơųɠɧɬ ῳɧąɬ ყơų ŋɛɛɖ " said the shadow
"Perfect"

Finn was still walking until he was stopped, it was the lake where M/n would of gotten his memories back
"Um" Finn said
"Jump in" the cat said as he jumped in
"I don't think tha- Ahhhhhh!!" Finn was suddenly pushed by the elf who followed after
They were falling down until they hit solid ground. Sadly Finn ended with a hurt bum.
He looked around and saw everyone frozen. A few candy people and broken ice. It must of been the work of the ice king due to the frozen ice. Finn looked around and saw that everyone was frozen as if time was frozen, a girl who was stoned appeared

She was stuck in time reaching for something or someone
"Who is she?" Finn asked
"She is the girl who was supposedly be married to our prince" the Elf said
"Who?"
"Prince m/n also know for his healing magic and his music. He ruled over the kingdom of Ace's" the cat boy replied
"Ace? Is this a card kingdom or something?" Finn asked
"Not exactly, the cards were based on those kingdoms. Very card has a meaning behind, such as spades is a card with distraction and ace is the life card" the cat said
"So m/n was the prince of life?... wow, so what was her name?"
"Snow princess the daughter of the ice queen and a creation, she was made of the snow and hair of the ice queen but she was opposite of what she thought she would be. M/n's kingdom was about to be in crumbs when the princess showed up. She was the hero and our symbol of peace along with the prince who was our healer and our supporter" the Elf smiled as she touched the stone
"Sadly she came out of her hiding the when attack of the shadows came out, she threw her crown to a man with a pointy like nose and she used all her powers to help our prince who was badly injured and cause the monster to pause and then a bright light came to us, the princess quickly came here and did what was best for us, she used her power to freeze everyone here, the ice was not cold but warm enough for us to make the snow melt through time, I never thought it would take this long for the ice to melt though, her last power to protect us as she also froze herself except she was frozen as a stone and never unfroze." The girl said as she had tears in her eyes
"She must of been really brave to do this for everyone and powerful to not freeze you completely but enough to stop you from growing old or from freezing to death."
Finn smiled as he touched the stone
"You guys said the knight of peace right?"
"Oh yes you seemed like him so we kinda though you might of been him" the male replied
"Who is exactly?"
"He is one the Prince's most trusted guards. He had blonde hair and his eyes were blue as the ocean, he was really a brave solder but he seemed to have a disliking for the princesses but he never done nothing wrong."
"A disliking?"
"Rumors have it that the prince and knight had a secret affair and were really married but because of the no same gender rule that everyone kingdom agreed from the start had it, the prince, during the wedding that rule was banned from ever existing again"
"Affair and princesses... banning and kingdoms... shadows... and princesses... ice queen... I think I know what's going on..." Finn muttered as he looked at the elf and cat
"Oh um... I never said my name so.. I'm Finn?"
"I'm Emerald, I am a servant and owe my life to my prince" the Elf said
"I am Noir named after my father who worked for the kings through many generations" the cat said
"Well Emerald, Noir... I think I know where your prince is, but it seems like I need help bringing his memories back"
"You found our prince?!" Both Emerald and Noir questioned
"Yes now let's go and find him!" Finn smiled
"Let's get ready before anything happens" Noir smiled as he went to get his bag ready along with Emerald.
Finn turned around and saw the statue of the snow princess and though he saw something like a smile or a smirk but continued to prepare himself for the big fight that was soon to come
