It's been four months since our good bye and I'm feeling much better than I was then. Alex is the main reason though he makes me laugh and forget about my pains. I found out my baby will be a baby boy and that he's healthy as can be. He loves to kick. I think he's going to be a soccer player like his father.
"Hey we never talked about what you will be naming him" Alex says.
"At first I thought about naming him Ethan James but now I want to name him Elijah James" I say with a smile.
"Hu, that's my brothers name not Elijah or Ethan but James. My mom was in love with the names Alexander and James" he says.
"I have always loved the name James" I say
"It's an okay name I guess" he says playing around.
"Shut up" I say nudging his shoulder. He leans in and kisses me so I kiss him back. "Im craving lava cake" I blurt out and he laughs.
"Alright babe, where do you want to get it from" he asks.
"Lorenzo's dinner" I say and when he's about to respond his phone rings. He tells me to give him a minute and leaves.
I got to my room to get ready. Alex comes looking for me about five minutes later.
"That was my brother and I invited him to go get dessert with us. That way we can tell him we're officially dating and you can meet his fiancee Luna" he says.
I emidiatly grab my stomach when I feel my baby kick again. Alex emidiatly comes to me and we both feel the little kicks. We both look at each other and smile. I wish James could be the one with me feeling our son's little kicks. I guess I can't complain though because Alex has been an amazing boyfriend.

When we get to the diner I get nervous. Alex helps me out of the car. He looks at me and says "you look gorgeous."
I smile and say thank you. When we get inside I see James and his fiancee. She's much prettier than me. She looks elegant. While I look like a mess. I wish I could just disappear. They both stand up when we get to the table.
"You look beautiful pregnant" James says.
"Thank you" I give him a shy smile and go to greet his fiancee.
"Hi, I'm lily" I smile and go to shake her hand but she give me a hug instead.
"Congratulations, on the baby" she says with a joyful smile. I can't dislike this girl he so sweet. Alex an James greet each other as well.
"Thanks" I say shyly. We all go to sit down.
"Do you know the gender already or are you waiting to be a surprise?" She asks.
"It's a baby boy" I say and I see the smile that just spread across James's face.
"Congrats" James says and I smile at him "what are you naming him?"
"Elijah" I say.
"His middle name will be James like yours" Alex says and I look at him. "Was I not supposed to say that" he says.
"No he just kicked that's why I looked at you" I say playing it off.
"He's been kicking all day" Alex says with excitement in his eyes.
"Youre excited for the little man huh brother" James says.
"Yeah, if lily will let me I'll give him my last name too" he says and I don't know what to say. I can feel James getting anxious.
"I don't know yet I'm berly preparing myself to be a mother. We'll talk about it another time" I say. "Uh, Luna who's going to be your maid of honor" I say trying to change the discussion.
"Um, well that's why we're here. I don't have anyone to ask so I was wondering if you could be my maid of honor and help me find other girls to be bridesmaid's" she says.
"Oh..." Is all I can say.
"It's okay if you don't want to. I can look for someone else" she says and James looks at me. I feel the pressure he's putting on me.
"That's not it. I was just thinking about how weird I would look in a bridesmaid dress" I say saving myself from looking like a bad person. This poor girl doesn't even know she's marring the love of my life.
"You wouldn't look weird you'd look beautiful" James says out of nowhere. I look at him surprised and so does Alex.
"Why are you flirting with my girlfriend?" Alex ask James.
"Girlfriend?" He asks.
"Yeah girlfriend. This pregnant beautiful woman is all mine" he says with a smile and I don't how I feel. James clenches his jaw looking at me.
"Well I wasn't flirting I was just trying to convince her to be my fiance's maid of honor" he says wrapping his arms around Luna. I want to cry or push him off her but he's not mine he belongs to her now.
"I accept. Now can we talk about something else" I say.
