Getting these chapters done very quickly lately! Thanks for all the feedback guys, I think it really helps me rush.

So, incase you didn't know, I was accepting new characters for the story! I was actually very selective with them because I really wanted them to have a meaning to the story instead of just a short part!

A new character you'll see is Aaron Phoenix, he makes a small appearance here. Thanks Jozamber for your character!

Chapter Five: Unforgivable

It was officially the first day of my third year and classes were about to begin. Lucky me, I had Snape first. My favorite person in the entire world. I entered the class and he gave me a disgruntled look. Guess he hadn't changed all summer. I made a vow to myself though that I would at least try to get good grades this year. If I wanted to get away from my parents, then I'd need money which would require getting a job. I had all the time in the world to do that, but might as well start trying to pass my classes now.

Snape of course was in a bad mood once again on the first day because he was stuck teaching Potions when we knew he wanted to be the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. It went to that crazy new guy though. I had him next. I had to admit I was a little bit scared, he seemed even scarier than Snape. Potions was basically a run through of last year, even though I honestly didn't know anything. Snape asked me questions to embarrass me yet never took away any points where as if one of the Hufflepuffs got anything wrong, they got five points taken away.

Finally the class ended and I was the first one out the door, technically because Snape seated me in the corner next to the door. Eowyn came right up behind me. "Merlin I'm so nervous for our next class," she said with a look of fear in her eyes.

"Don't be too scared," Dasha said. "Dumbledore hired him as a Professor, so he must know something about the Dark Arts. Who could be worse than Lockhart?"

"I would give anything to have him back as a Professor!" Eowyn said. "I mean...those eyes...that hair."

"That useless information we learned about his favorite color being Lavender," Dasha said rolling her eyes. "Thank Merlin he was our teacher first year and not fifth, otherwise we'd all be screwed for owls. At least this new teacher looks as though he's had experience with Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"Or just Dark Arts in general," Eowyn pointed out. "Rather creepy looking if you ask me." I continued listening to them argue over Lockhart or the possible new Professor Moody. Yet if you ask me, I would say Professor Lupin was perfect. I wish he was still our Professor. Jake was walking down the hall opposite from me.

"Carlie!" he called. Once again it had begun. A few older Gryffindor girls gave me snooty look for talking to him. It wasn't like we were dating or anything, he was just a friend.

"Hey Jake," I responded walking over to him after telling Dasha and Eowyn I'd meet up with them at class. "I didn't get to talk to you last night. Wow that whole Triwizard Tournament thing is shocking, I'm furious Quidditch is cancelled!"
