Yi Su was starting to lose hope however desperate she was to keep it. Surely even if Jin survived out there there will be no supplies for them after the flood. Every time it leads her to the same doubt. Is he still alive?
"Yi Su you must listen to me. He told me that the floods were being exaggerated about in our country. It didn't kill more than a hundred people in this world. That meant that life continued as normal after that. Newspapers published the death of so many famous people day by day. He said it himself that he saw my dad's name in that list too. But I knew that before. There was always a slim chance of my dad surviving if anything happens. He has his medical problems plus the fact that he was really famous meant more people wanted him dead. But Yi Su we need to move on!" Ji Su's heartbeat was starting to race. It was going so fast it started skipping beats. She was so excited."Yi Su don't you see it! The government exaggerated the floods. It always wondered me how they invented SKY so fast. They didn't invent it fast. Everything was planned from the beginning. The government wanted to shut us off. They were waiting for the moment to seize their chance. The weather monitors picked up slight floods so they took their chances and told us that the flood will kill us. The flood isn't the problem here. Don't you see it. Yi Su." she grabbed Yi Su by the shoulders and pulled her parallel " The government are trying to seclude us."
Those words meant everything. Yi Su can see it now. Why they were killing famous people. It is all explained clearly. The reason why this country is so uniformed. The reason why no one is unpatriotic apart from them two. She can see it clearly. The government was tired of all the people who won't stop rebelling against the government. They were sick of it. They murdered those during the flood to blame the flood and they shut their country off so no more rebels can join in. They wanted the rest of their country to remain patriotic and listen to the rules so they killed all the famous people to stop any means of entertainment. That meant everyone had to listen to the government. That also meant that any films that suggested unpatriotic behavior was stopped. Wow. The government had planned it all. All the citizens of this country are like the rats in a maze. Running around cluelessly.
"Oh my god Ji Su. You are right. They have us captured. But. But if the world remained the same doesn't that mean Jin could be alive! He can fight strongly against the government if they came to kill him for his fame."
A lot had been cleared up with that one statement.
