"Where do we meet?" Yi Su asked.

"We not going to meet anyone anywhere. We're going now. We can't waste anytime. Oh and I don't think I told you my name. I am -"

"We know. Your name is Mr Kim. But we really do have to get moving." Ji Su was saying it in a way to discourage any more questions. Yi Su without seeing that said

"But I need to tell my mum. Please it is really important. Please. I can't go without telling her. What if I don't come back. Please I need her to know that even if I don't return she should remain safe and happy with all her friends. I could... um..... please... she's my only hope.. I could run.. I will make it in time. I promise. Please. Maybe -"

"Yi Su." Ji Su said sternly. "If you want to go then go. I believe you. You can definitely make it in time. "

Yi Su thanked her with her eyes and ran off. She didn't stop. Her eyes were stinging with the air blowing against her. But that was fake generated air. No more generations should face the same situation they have. No more dreams. Her legs were aching and she so desperately wanted to stop but she didn't. She wanted to leave her mark. She sprinted harder with every pain in the leg. Onward she continued and burst in through her front door. The lights were off. Pure black darkness concealed her house. It was only 6 pm but as the days went on night started earlier. It was purely dark. Yi Su stood in the entrance ears burning to hear the slightest movement indicating her mum was home. She walked in. Searched every room, every nook and every cranny. Her mum was not home. What should she do? She needs to go but had the same equal desire to stay here and wait to explain. But she had to go. She promised. So she wrote a note. It said:

Dear mum,

I'm ever so sorry but you knew me inside out. You knew that I didn't like the government. You knew I would have to leave eventually. The day has come. I have to leave - not for my own use - but for all the generations to come. I had to make sure that I won't create another generation like us - enclosed, secluded and trapped.

I am not sure if I will return. If I will make it back safe and secure but I need you to know that I will try my best. And you should wait for me. You should know that I would not give up. I will come back. I will. Don't go anywhere. Don't leave me. I will be back. I will be going in about 15 minutes. I hope you get this letter and understand the pain I endure of having to leave you behind. But I will come back. With Jin.

She placed the note on top of her mum's pillow. She really hopes her mum would receive it and not anyone else. She had to go now. Down by the door she was about to leave and shut the door but their was this strong pull on her. It was telling her to wait for her mum. It was unusual for her mum to be out this late. But she had to keep her promise so she run off, into the distance back towards Ji Su, Mr Kim and hopefully her ticket out of this prison.
