Ji Su's POV

What on earth happened to Yi Su??? Last night she came up with the most a-maz-ing plan ever and today she doesn't even know who she is. Or who I am!

"Yi Su are you alright? You don't seem fine to me... I think we should go for a walk." I reached for her hand and took it. She pulled it back again. She doesn't trust me...

"Yi Su, believe me. I think that-" A doctor pulled my arm and tugged me around the corner. It was the same female who treated us last night. She took me to her office and sat me down.

"What happened to her? Why is she acting like that? It's not usually her. What's wrong? Tell me." I bombarded her with questions as soon as we sat down.

"Yi Su has suffered memory loss. It is the second time in her life. What happened is that she now remembers everything that happened before she had her first memory loss but forgot everything after. In other words she got her old memories back in exchange for the new ones." the doctor described it to me.

"Does that mean she doesn't know who I am? Or who her husband is???" I asked, but I kinda accidentally yelled the second sentence.

"No, I'm afraid not. It was caused by a side effect of overdosing. She misused tablets which are meant to be used for asthma and it collided with her brain in a way to make her get memory loss again. I'm sorry to say this but if she ever gets memory loss again she might forget both before and after and will not know anything about her or her life..."

I was heartbroken. Yi Su doesn't know who I am and it was all my fault. I shouldn't have forgotten my wallet and I should have told her that she shouldn't overdose but instead I overdosed with her. What is wrong with me?! Why couldn't I have forgotten instead? After half an hour of sulking around the hospital I decided that the only way I could gain her trust was by getting help from Yi Eun unnie. I sprinted to the public wing to get her. Only problem is she might have been discharged and gone looking for us. I hope she hasn't left yet...

I arrived into the public wing and ran straight to the back of the large room. I knew that that was where her bed was because she liked being at the back and not getting disturbed by people walking around. I looked for bed number #1558. I ran around and around the back line through the #1400 section. I finally arrived at her bed but to my horror it was neatly cleaned and no patient was there. I enquired about her to her bed neighbours but they all said that she left early and told them to tell me and Yi Su that she will be back at 2:30pm. I had two options now. Either wait for her to come back or continue searching for her. I figured that it will just be smarter to go look for her because I can't waste a moment of my life right now. Where would Yi Eun unnie be? I am not sure to be honest but I have a feeling she would be where we first met her. In The Final Ward. I sprinted off in the direction of The Final Ward. She must be there otherwise I don't know where else to look. I ran and ran until I reached. I look in. I hoped really hard that she was in there. I see something unusual. All the children aren't there. What happened? Then I see Yi Eun unnie at the back walking around looking under beds. Phew. For a moment there I seriously thought the children had... died... But to my utmost relief I found Yi Eun unnie and all the children were playing hide and seek with her. I ran to the back and grabbed Yi Eun unnie's hand. She looked at me and I simply told her that I will tell her once we are outside but it was really urgent. My eyes pleaded with her. She gave in and waved to children before joining me. 

"What is the problem?" Yi Eun unnie asked me softly as she came out and walked with me.

I spilled everything to her as soon as we left. Every now and then as I spoke her eyes widened and she would ask : "Really?" and I would nod. In the end Yi Eun unnie promised that she would help me get out of this mess. We ran straight to Yi Su's ward after that.

Yi Eun unnie told me to wait outside for a couple of moments until she called me back and I waited. I really don't know how to get myself out of this mess right now.

After about half an hour Yi Eun unnie called me in. I walked in and Yi Su waved at me. Does she remember me now? My heart raced at all the possibilities of her remembering me. I sat beside her and searched her eyes for anything familiar.

"This is the girl I was talking about. Ji Su." Yi Eun unnie gestured to me. All my hope was shattered. She doesn't remember me....

I am so sorry about this chapter. I know how boring it is but I just lost all my ideas today after going on a really boring trip to the zoo...  Once again I am so so so sorry....
