True Colors (Splatoon Story) (Complete)

Chapter 1 -A Hero is Discovered-

"Do you think this is a good idea, Callie?" Marie asked as she looks around the stage that she has planned to perform on.

"I don't think why it is a bad idea. Can you image, us singing in front of a crowd, floating on a suspended stage. Even the fans all the way at the back can see us," Callie said with excitement.

"I can understand that part, but why on Hammerhead Bridge?" Marie asked as she looked around.

"Come on, Marrie, what could go wrong?" Callie asked nonchalantly.

"Now that you said that, anything," Marie commented in an sarcastic tone.

This isn't something the Squid Sisters would normally do, performing outside of Inkopolis Plaza, but it is for a special occasion. It's Inkopolis' 30th anniversary to be the hippest city in the country, and Callie though it would be cool to celebrate it with the concert on Hammerhead Bridge.

"Now then, shall we discuss the song list for the show?" Callie asked excitedly.

"Why not? We don't have anything better to do for now," Marie responded in a calm tone.

While the two cousins are discussing the songs, somewhere around Inkopolis is an inkling running around the roofs free running, dressed in a worn out Dark Urban Vest, Moto Boots and a Skull Bandana covering his face. This Inkling is different from the rest though, because instead of the usual bright colours that everyone is born with, like turquoise, magenta, sky blue, etc. his colour is pure black.

This inkling's name is (F/n) Nightingale, or how he's better known around Inkopolis, 'The Midnight Ghost'. The reason why is because he homeless and around midnight goes and steal some food from some shops without getting caught, ever.

Right now, (F/n) was making his way towards Inkopolis Plaza, but he remained on the roofs of the buildings. Right now, he was on top of the fox statue and he's looking down at all the inklings entering the different shops or entering the battle tower. While (F/n) was looking down, the giant screen next to Inkopolis Tower changed into it's news channel.

"Hold on your tentacles!" said Callie in her usual enthusiastic tone.

"It's Inkopolis News Time," said Marie in her normal calm tone.

The screen changed to for a moment to a pink background with green blobs of inks, before changing back to the two nieces.

"Listen up, everyone! Tomorrow, is going to be a special day for Inkopolis!" said Callie as she raised her left fist into the air.

"Really? How come?" Marie asked.

"Tomorrow is Inkopolis 30th anniversary for being the hippest city!" Callie responded.

"Oh my. This calls for a celebration," said Marie as she puts her left hand on her hip.

"Indeed, and that is why we'll perform a live show on Hammerhead Bridge at 3 o'clock, and everyone is invited! Well, that's all for now. Until next time..." said Callie.

"Stay fresh!" said the Squid Sisters simultaneously.

(F/n) tilted his head when he heard that this concert in on Hammerhead Bridge, because there has been some weird things happening there. (F/n) started to stand up and make his way towards his 'home', which was a cave on the side of Octo Vally. He made his way to an obscure manhole behind some buildings and makes his way home. This sewer line leads to one of the waterfalls in Octo Vally, and his home is just behind one of them.
