"And then, I hid myself on one of the cargo carts and made my way to Inkopolis," I said, finishing my story.
Everyone was shocked and sad to hear my story, probably more from such a well known company for weapons.
"Wow... I'm sorry that you had to suffer through that," said Callie in a depressed tone.
"It's fine," I responded.
Out of nowhere, Agent 8 hugged me and trying to comfort me.
"I... appreciate the gesture, Agent 8, but I'm fine. What happened was long ago, but I do wish to request something from everyone," I said as everyone gave me a curious look.
"I want your help to basically destroy Exalted Flame Company," I explained.
Everyone widened their eyes by hearing this. They look at each other, almost like their having a silence conversation with each other. After a couple of seconds, they nodded and look back to me.
"We'll help you with your mission," said Marie with a smile, catching me off guard.
"I'm surprised that all of you agreed so easily," I said to them.
"How can't we after hearing that story?" said Marina.
"Hell yeah we gonna help ya! They are gonna pay for even experimenting on Inklings and Octolings!" said Pearl as she stands up from the sofa and strike a pose.
"I have to agree with Pearl. We need to take that company down," said Callie.
"Hell yeah!" said Agents 3 and 4.
A smile started to form as I see everyone agree with this.
"Before we start though, I think we need to talk about Ghost-" Marie started to say.
"My name isn't Ghost. It's (F/n)," I interrupted.
"Alright. Like I was saying, I think we need to talk about (F/n)'s living condition, because right now, he's living in a cave," Maria commented.
"You're saying it like it's a bad thing," I said in a neutral tone.
"Sorry, but when we were there, there was only a hole shaped like you," said Agent 3.
"Of course, I hid all my stuff in little side caves that I created over time and covered them up with rocks. Believe when I say that I have quite a few weapons up there. Some even custom made to resist my acid," I explained.
"I was starting to wonder about that," said Agent 4.
"But I think that it's better that you should get some rest in an actual bed," said Marina.
"And somewhere warmer than that shithole," Pearl deadpanned.
I gave her an unamused look. Even if I've seen some of her performance, I was never the biggest fan of her attitude.
"Unless you know a place that I can stay, along with a place for my weapons, then I fear I got nowhere to go, princess," I said in a slightly annoyed tone.
"You... could come with us," said Callie shyly, slightly blushing.
"I appreciate the gesture, Callie, but I do not wish to intrude in yours, or Marie's, personal space. Besides, I'm perfectly fine with my cave," I explained to them.
